This is a great system. I have two concerns.

1. The price is very high. The reason it is high is to prevent just ANYBODY getting the secret to this great method. So I understand why it is high, but I think would have been just fine to filter out the real magicians and those who just want secrets.

2. While the method is great, keep in mind this is not like traditional Two-person codes. This is a simplified code, meant for basic, but powerful, tricks. If you wanted to have someone point to any object in a room, or draw any picture, it requires a good amount of memory work. He does go through a method that he calls the Alpha Code, but says to only use it when called upon, and use it sparingly. This method is more of "How many fingers am I holding behind my back?" type of code.


Cons aside, I got a hang of this method right away, and was able to teach my partner in a quick manner. Having tried the one in 13 Steps to Mentalism, though it is almost comparing apples to oranges, this method is a lot easier to remember, and to store in your brain. The 13 Steps method, while more flexible in what objects you could do, called for list memorization and awkward speech. This is a great trick, and if you can pick up a used copy, or happen to have the cash, this is a must have for any two man routine.

What a great system Dan Harlan has created and the reason it is so great is because it’s so simple to learn and difficult to forget once learned. Me and my partner tried to learn the system that’s in the 13 Steps to Mentalism by Corinda book it took months to learn the basics and the problem was, if you left it alone for a couple of weeks you would forget things because there was so much to remember.
But Speakeasy is so simple to learn and remember. The fun me and my partner have already started having with this new system people keep asking me if she is physic and even the sceptics can’t work it out. I could not recommend this DVD enough

This sistem is just Amazing!! This is a must have magic!
Its easy, practical and the possibilites of effects are infinite!!!
Its worthy the price!! For sure!!

To fully understand my skepticism let me tell a quick story: Back about 6 months ago I purchased a book called the artful dodges of Eddie Fields. In it, there was a story of eddie helping George doing a 2 man code known as "the best in the business", though the secret method was not tipped, and was said to be VERY difficult, taking a year's worth of practice. They would litererally able to say peoples name's, read off serial numbers off of dollar bills, and much more. People would be fainting.
Long story short, I needed a system that can do just that. That infomaion could be comunicated effectively and secretly. The method must be flexible. Simple. Pushing it, a spectator could hide any item they own behind their back, and the person with their eyes closed could name the object. Could it do all of the above and work as a reliable system? Yes. For the money to be paid, you will be doing miracles. Legit ones at that. :)

Dan Harlan puts out some great stuff and this is no exception. This is by no means a one trick pony. You can code practically anything to your helper. It is extremely simple and easy enough to remember.
More complicated sets will take a bit of practice to get down fluently, but your helper needs very little practice (practically no prep work).
If this is something that sounds interesting, I highly recommend this DVD.

I was afraid that this would be more memory work. But it's so easy, that I was amazed. I have tried to learn other systems and this just kills all of them. What you see in the demo vid is 100% TRUE! If you want to learn a sytem of two pearson mindreading you will learn this in just minutes. Fact is, this system should sell for 0 or more!Put together a show with all what you will learn from this system and you will have an amazing act that you can charge at least 00.

Don't Buy This!!! It's too good and I don't want you to have it!!!
You will find nothing but one of the most brilliant and easy to master mentalist techniques of all time that will make you and your partner to be as close to legit mindreaders as ever possible...so I highly discourage you from proceeding further if you know what's good for you!!!
And just remember that it doesn't help that Dan is an excellent teacher and is incredibly helpful if you have questions or that he has more in store than what's actually on the DVD if you are so inclined...seriously, who needs that level of awesome FN rockingness???

Dan & Jen do an excellent job of teaching the best (as far as I'm concerned) word transmission effect there is. This system is sooooo EASY to learn and then teach to your confederate ! EAST as counting on your fingers. Did I mention that it is EASY... easy to learn, that is ? If you need to "Transmit" info, then you WILL Love this method. Not only will you be able to send numbers, but will also be able to send color, shapes & ESP Symbols too to your partner !! Great for Birthday & Corporate events. Dan Harlan is a fantastic teacher. He is very entertaining and a freaking Genius! I have been practicing this with my partner for the last two weeks. This method is brilliant and easy to learn. I like how much he simplified things for those of us...that don't wanna memorize ourselves into a coma.

As Dan states...there is so much you can do with this system...He presents a ton of ideas and leaves room for you to bring your own creativity to it.

The one con about the dvd: is that the live stuff at the fair is hard to hear...quite distracting while you are trying to take it all in...But he makes up for it with his time alone teaching...and makes up for it EVEN more when he lets you view some stage footage. So honestly...once you get the method down...when you go back to review the fair footage...you won't be so freaked while you are trying to see and hear Dan and Jen in action at the fair.

If you are interested in this kind of code/partner speak...GET IT! You will not be disappointed. It is fun. It is easy. You will get it quickly...but you will need to practice to be smooth...and it will all be worth it.

And guess what...it is fun!
