Never have I seen someone be so direct on what to do and how to do it in today's highly competitive world of entertainment that the only drawback I guess I can HONESTLY write was that the lecture couldn't be MORE than 2 hours long and that he didn't address whether or not magic can compete in today's of world of entertainment. But I guess common sense would be why would we perform if we didn't think that?

Never let the price of an effect or knowledge scare you from learning and expanding your horizons. ESPECIALLY LECTURES AND KNOWLEDGE, which are the 2 most significant things that separate those who are serious from those that Gazzo refers to as "internet magicians." Buy it. Watch the lecture. Become a REAL magician.

This Lecture is leaps and bounds above Gazzos first Live Lecture on Penguin. But, I have to worn you Gazzo Doesn't give a way Tricks in this Lecture... He gives ADVICE on Busking/Street Magic. So, if you are looking for some new tricks to learn this IS NOT the Lecture for you. But, if your looking for some great ADVICE on making Money, how to ask for money, crowd control, and being funny; Buy this and take a look at this great Lecture.

If ya wanna be a street performer, this is the place. I went busking for the first time with his advice and did very well thanks to Gazzo. Only worth it if you wanna street perform.

I bought this as part of a bundle with some other lectures and DVD's. I actually like Gazzo, and think he is a brilliant street performer. But this lecture... wow.
He is so unprepared and unorganized, and it's very clear to me that he is holding back information.
The host asks Gazzo questions and he responds by saying "I can't tell you that, you just have to figure it out." Umm... why are you giving a lecture?

The very first part of the lecture (20 minutes or so) he at least gives some pretty decent advice about how to set up on the street and control a crowd. I almost gave this review 2 stars because of that good advice but honestly, this lecture doesn't deserve anything but the lowest rating.

There are so many gems in this lecture I can't begin to tell you... Gazzo is the ultimate teacher in what to do and how to do it only because he KNOWS what the heck he's talking about... in all my years of being a loyal Penguin customer this is by far the best $20 I've ever spent. If you have the slightest interest in street performing I promise you that you will not be disappointed in what is shared here, his take on crowd control alone is worth the price of admission... I can only hope that the folks at Penguin will realize they need to shave off the first 27 empty minutes of this video file because most people don't want to pay for a downloaded lecture where the first half hour is watching a spinning clock waiting for the lecture to start

Its the lecture you've all been waiting for. You wanna make money on the streets, and Gazzo is here to show you the easy way. All of the methods and techniques for building the crowd are very innovative, you will be able to get larger crowds than now, and you won't have to feel the tension of having to ask people to see your show, because they will naturally COME TO SEE YOU!!! haha Everything, any question you've had will be answered here. What are you waiting for? Watch this lecture, find 3-5 tricks to use for the streets, and go to work making the money you know you deserve. :3

I was really disappointed in this lecture because I thought I would be getting more information instead of a single concept or two prolonged and stretched out into a 2-hour lecture. With all of his expertise, I would've wanted to hear more than just, "go out and try it for yourself to see what works and what doesn't". I could've just done that without even watching this video. Don't get me wrong, there are a few (and I really mean few) nuggets that could be very helpful, but what he said for the rest of the 1hr and 55mins were "time fillers".
IMHO, save your money on this one and get something that'll actually teach you something.

Gazzo's lecture is the best (only) on street performing in the lecture series so far (9/7/13). The first part of the lecture contains amazing advice and quality examples and explanations for building a crowd. However, once that bit of prepared material is done, the lecture trails off a little bit. If you want to get into Busking, this is a great lecture to do it, but, it isn't perfect.

I have never busked in my life. I'm hoping to try my hand at it soon.

Wow! I really feel like I got some great information here. Best $20 I've spent in a while. Although I perform full time professionally, the street is another beast.

This lecture gave me exactly the information I was looking for. I can't wait to get out and get started!

It was fantastic to hear a well seasoned professional such as Gazzo ta;k about the real secrets of magic.

His sarcastic wit speaks volumes and simple wisdoms such as "funny=money" are a great reminder that audiences don't want to be amazed, but want to be smused.

Only issue us that it is s bit slow and repetitive.
