If I were to get in front of a crowd, and I had made the claim to be a hypnosis expert, and I
intended to sell my lecture as a resource for learning hypnotism, then I would make darn certain
that I'd versed myself in the most basic fundamentals of the art--many of the books that Jay cites
as his resources have *nothing* to do with hypnosis, not to mention he said he hadn't read THE BIBLE
of stage hypnotism--The Encyclopedia of Stage Hypnosis. Jay missed a lot of basic concepts of
"going first," how to bypass the critical factor, using hypnotic language, etc. If you're looking
for a quick hypnosis 101 that you can cover in 3 hrs, this is fine but you won't learn *nearly* as
much as if you take the $30 you would spend on this lecture and go buy Ormond McGill's Encyclopedia
of Stage Hypnosis from Amazon--it might take more than 3hrs to read but you will be *much* better
versed.

I like Jay and have several of his videos but this was lame and certainly not worth 30 it was
basically about 45 minutes of material and nothing here was all that good.

I like most of the stuff by Jay. But, found this so boring and hard to follow that I stopped half
way through. The techniques he was talking about didn't seem to me that they would work. Maybe as a
beginner it was way above my head. Perhaps someday I'll go back and finish watching the video.

Jay's lecture was awesome! What I liked is he showed how we magician's can easily use a few
physiological tricks that are no fail and cruise into full or light hypnosis.
Jay taught a
lot of stuff I have never seen before. Very easy to do, but incredible impact.
These
Penguin lectures are so worth the money. Front row and you can ask questions.
Really great
value.

Jay rocked it. He teaches several practical, easy to learn--as well as powerful--routines for those
wishing to get their feet wet in hypnosis. The Jedi Choke is absolute gold for magicians,
mentalists, and hypnotists. It's so good. As well as the routines Jay teaches, he also demonstrated
some strong phenomena and some cool inductions. Whether you're into hypnosis already, or have a
desire to get started, check out this lecture. You won't be disappointed.

This might be one of the items that I am most happy with buying here from penguin. I watched the
lecture and started performing the material that day and got amazing reactions. This lecture is gold
and worth 5 times the price.

In this lecture there is a new material concerning invisible touches which are absolutely great for
your hypnosis show. I found that some useful features about an instantaneous hypnosis are very
interesting and they can be used in the real life. The basics and some advanced techniques are
covered very well.
