The idea is simple, but the effect is astounding. I am not only a magician but I am also a
firefighter paramedic EMT instructor. I used this effect on my class and it blew them away. I don't
usually perform magic for the guys at the station unless it is boarder line miracle and again this
trick has what it takes to fool the biggest skeptics.

worth $10 but not more...it is easy to perform but several friends 'reversed engineered' it in less
time than it took to learn. There is a place for this but after several other 'miracles' have been
performed---and you instantly change to a new effect-- so there not time to think about

Though simple in concept it is hard hitting and a great opener to other demonstrations. What I like
is you are always ready as there is nothing to carry. Impromptu at it's best. Don't be put off
by the simplicity - this is a well thought out routine.

This is an incredibly weak effect. If anyone saw a full performance of this, they would never buy
it. In fact, what you see in the trailer (showing the second hand going past where it is supposed to
go) is designed specifically to make you think that she actually counted how many times her heart
will beat in a full minute, something which can never happen.
I'm not sure why I keep
buying Matt Mello instant downloads after how many times I've been burned.

I bought this because my wife is a nurse and I thought she might be able to mystify her students
with it. However, just before I hit the "Pay" button, a possible solution to this trick came to
mind. I thought, "There's no way it could be that easy." I was wrong; it is just that simple. There
are only a couple of variables here, so if you aren't controlling one, it must be the other.
Now for those of you who are mentalists, the author includes a number of ways this trick can be
included in a routine and that may be well worth the price of admission. I am not a big fan of
mental magic and will likely never employ those procedures.

You can use your watch or phone for taking the pulse. The phone method IMO is the way to go and most
effective. Sometimes the tricks you purchase never get used for a number of reasons. You WILL use
this trick in your routine. It's easy and ready to go anytime. Get it. You will be happy with your
purchase.

Great effect.
the instructions are explained clearly and he doesnt babble on, i think its worth
the money for sure.
i love it more because it truely is propless. in the video he has a marker
and some paper but even if you didnt have those you would be able to type your prediction in a note
or message on their phone so i will use this because you can do it anywhere.

The method is very obvious. I ended up purchasing because the ad description was misleading by
stating that you can use that method to "predict many other thoughts", which is a complete lie. The
video suggests an idiotic method to get an additional prediction added to the effect, but that
method is a separate method, and is so idiotic that I can't imagine any spectator of any age not to
figure it out right away.
This was truly a waste of money and time.
The method is
exactly what it looks like, and all the statements made in the ad copy that make you think it is
something else are simply misleading or false statements.
Very disappointing.

I love impromptu effects using nothing at all (Check out 'Green Neck' and 'Trojan Horse Project') or
just using a pen and paper. I saw the trailer and read the reviews before buying this and had an
idea of method, but bought it anyway to not only support the creator, but to pick up presentation tips
and ideas I may not have thought of.
The method is cheeky and the'two reveals'idea adds meat to
the bone, instead of just doing a single prediction.
It's a good effect to have up your sleeve.
Having performed this effect quite a few times for 'real' people in both informal and professional
paid environments , I've found it to be both deceptive and engaging.
I had pretty much
worked out the method from watching the trailer, but was happy to pay my money to learn any
subtleties or 'bits of business' that could enhance the effect and help mask the method, which, if
I'm honest, I thought might be a little obvious and risky. What I was't expecting was a second
method for the effect which, in my mind, is superior to the standard version. I won't mention what
it uses here (most people have one and in a sense, it is still impromptu) because Matt hasn't chosen
to include it in the trailer, but I feel it really adds an innocent and deceptive layer to the
effect.
Highly recommended.
