I love Mark Mason's style, his presentation, and his effects. This is, overall, a great lecture. But I felt like a bit too much of it requires various purchases from Mason's inventory of magic releases. That said, if you want to learn methods and find out if those tricks are worth your cash to get the gimmicks, this is a great way to find out!

Mark is real nice guy. his teachings are very unique. I really enjoyed the lecture.

all the effects are very useful and easy to do. I loved the first effect he did with the signed card. it is funny at the same time. the whole presentation of this effect is great.

The second effect i really like is the one with the book and the word. thats a great effect.

I'm a big fan of Mark Mason and his products and routines.This tape is full of top effects and sleights. Mark's force is one of the best forces I have every seen and to me is worth the price of the tape But there is so much more on this tape such as his rope routine filled with comedy,in fact the whole tape is full of fun and highly entertaining.I recently purchased from Mark his Shelled Shocked(dollar sized) and I have never been so pleased with any magic that I have purchased, as I am with Shell Shocked it is such a joy to behold.Truly a Professional Item.Very expensive yes, but worth every penny and more.Of course it's Five Stars for Mark Mason Live. Mark Mason is a legendary name is our field. He has created tons of strong best selling magic effects. I greatly enjoyed the lecture and learning some history of where he came from and how he got started in magic.

In the lecture, Mark demonstrates a couple of good practical strong effects with cards, coins, rope. A few of the effects require gimmicks that he sells but I think they are all real workers for the real world that will get you great reactions. As others have mentioned his effects are all simple and easy to remember / easy to describe, something I think is very important to establish your reputation to boost business.

Mark also goes through lots of theory and ideas on how to get started with creating your own effects and how to market them. This guy is the biggest name at most conventions and he is the master at selling magic. Buy this lecture and support Mark Mason, you won't be disappointed.

There are some people in the world of magic that just make it all feel great, and Mark Mason is one of those people!! If I had ever wandered into his magic shop I would have never left. If you are not likable, than you will have a hard time in magic. Best of all, Mark has great magic!! All of the tricks and routines on this lecture are real world workers, and Mark just keeps it simple and direct. He knows how to entertain, and he knows a good trick when he sees it. This is probably the best lecture I have seen on Penguin Magic!
