So when it's Paul Harris, you know it's heavily gimmicked with always something/some funny move to
achieve the impossible. I saw this trick, Closure, as a miracle, and in a way it really is something
beautiful and slightly (pun) different from the usual run of PH tricks. In this review, I will
address all the problems I found, and inform you of how to improve finesse on this trick and give
you a VERY informed opinion my magic friends. :)
Problems/solutions to be made:
-prepare to put in 2 or more hours of work as practice will be the least of your worries. What I
mean is that making all the adjustments so the trick "flows" will take up a lot of time. Unless you
believe in hard work to master a beautiful effect, this may not be for you. (As of now, I put in 3
to make everything "perfect")
- I feel the trick was WAYYYYYY overpriced for the trick alone.
$50 max. It is good, yes, but should not be charged THIS much.
-The routine itself is TOO
simplistic, and needs more layers to be deceptive. Below I have provided a solution that the dvd
didn't give.
-All that was included in the dvd was multiple variations of how to vanish the ring
and make it appear on your necklace (and a possible transposition). There should be more ways/
routines to be included since a) you paid $100 and b) the vanish and appearance is NOT enough. For
everyone here' I recommend again the below routine to use with Closure.
-They give 2 extra
pieces of small chain with NO explanation of what to do with them! Robert Smith said he would cover
it in the inventory section but never did
The shrug technique did not work at all with my
hook-up unless I shifted my whole body towards the ceiling.
-They didn't cover the scenario
where you can be seated to perform this trick
Other things to note and help you along the
way:
-Clip pin to the front shoulder part of the shirt
-Take off your shirt to make
adjustments, at times it's frustrating to do guesswork when you cannot see your adjustments and are
just going off a feel.
-doing the ring vanish alone is too obvious. do a multiphase one coin
routine using a ring instead and have the final production come from your mouth ( or possible place
if that is not your preference) , BEFORE doing the appearance on your necklace. It's more logical,
makes sense, and is much more humorous to clean off the ring and have it vanish then. I showed it to
my friends the vanish as is, from the promo video, and NOBODY believed it. There was a move
somewhere
have it built into a bigger routine, (not given on the dvd) and it will be covered.
-
I feel slightly limited to performing this in noisier environments because of the possible "sound"
that was not mentioned before the purchase of the dvd
-Keep the "hook-up" to your belt, as
pockets did not work
hookup kept slipping out
-As to the DVD itself, pause in each section
because Robert only repeats things once and the information is critical-I had to press replay a
couple times
-.-
Even with ALL these things, I bought this trick knowing I would have to put a
good couples hours work into setting up/fixing/ making the trick work for me. And I'm happy (yes, I
sound crazy), cuz I now this is not a trick many people would put their time into to making it work
for them. And as gregory wilson once said, "it gives your cards a rest"...
Random final
thoughts: the box it comes in is pretty elegant. haha But in all
seriousness, it's your choice
wether you want to get the trick or not. I hope this helps everyone!

After actually using it for a live audience it absolutely kills. I've added it to my walk around
permanently. Earlier review I was griping about the price, but this is the fastest trick I ever had
that went from the box to mastering, I focused all my attention on Closure for about a week straight
all day and night. It is very simple to do, but requires attention to timing and crowd control with
the proper redirection. I was recently comfortable enough to perform for a paying audience, and it
kills. This is one of those tricks that you will instantly fall in love with doing. It was
comfortable to wear and walk around in. Some people are griping about the "noise issue", Yes there
is a little bit of noise, but unless you're performing at a library you should be fine. Besides
crack a joke, get a laugh and that alone will cover up the noise, if not then just slowly release it
like they showed on the DVD. Anyways my biggest complaint was the price and quality of the gimmick,
but after tweaking it and putting it through its paces, this is a trick I can't recommend more. Yes,
its a 100 bucks but I can guarantee you that Closure will go into any professional working walk
around magician's arsenal. That in itself is worth the Benjamin.

As a corporoate entertainer basicly always wearing a jacket there really are som issues to discuss
with this trick.
First of all I really do dislike the basic shirt vansish.
It's not as
clean as it should be, and giving the excuse that the ring has som smudge og whatever just is'nt
very classy at all. Secondly then bringing the ring to your shirt edge like they show you even in
the trailer is not very clean, you could do whatever with the ring at that point, but offcourse if
you are in the streets of vegas I guess you can do whatever. But in a corporate enviroment, that
just isn't good enough.
Secondly they have invented another vanish which could be
fantastic, an actually in hand vanish which is simple to do and looks great, away from the body and
all. However making this work in a jacket with a shirt, or a short sleeve shirt beneath is almost
impossible.
This issues and some of what other critics have been saying really does not
make this trick really good for someone performing in more classy enviroments. But if you would want
to spend this amount of money to fool your friends, or if you normally work in just a t shirt and
are satisfied with the presentation in the trailer, go for it.

I think this is absolutely brilliant!! I agree with one reviewer that I'm going to approach the
vanish differently. Sure...it's $100. If you don't like it, then don't buy it. These creators put a
lot of time and money into this product to bring it to us. Most magicians are the cheapest people I
know. If something is over $10 they complain that it is too expensive. I suppose they only want to
be charged for the materials. If an item's quality is diminished in order to lower the price, then a
lot of magicians complain that the quality isn't as it should be.
I apologize for going on
a tangent. I think "Closure" is fantastic and I'm glad I spent $100 for this item.

I got closure today. I was pretty close to the method. Any way, the dvd is shot pretty good. It is
really clear visually. The dvd could use close ups and and even different angles. It was sort of
hard to see the way he had his set up.there are multiple shirt methods. I find the way he has his
set up in the demo isnt the easiest to set up. Sure some will get it quick perhaps, but it is not
the quickest or easiest way. It only took me a few minutes to size the chain to me. It took longer
for me to hook it up than to size it. It does what it shows, but there is noise, they teach how to
combat the noise, but i don't think I'll do is s quiet place. Also there is some pieces that slide
and stick together and its s good thing i practiced this because i know some if you will know what
I'm talking about. I thought it broke one time because if this. I haven't tried third live yet still
need more practice time. There are multiple vanishes and taught as well as Peters version. I am
giving it a 3 1/2. While once you get it set up and get use to it you can wear it all the time.
There are some noise issues and it is possible to see the moment it happens off you don't practice.
I am using the two shirt method and I'm playing around with noise levels and release speed. Its it
worth 100 bones. The chains are not top quality, the black one is already scratching up your really
paying for the gimmick. Maybe done will say its worth the dough. I do not think it is, for this
price there should be no or complicated setup. I do like the trick, i will use this once i get it
practiced enough. I hope this helps anybody make a decision.

If you are a corporate magician in a suit coat with tucked in shirt, it won't work for you. If you
are a street magician with a tee shirt it will. Just not my style, so I won't be able to use it.
Think it could be killer in the right hands, just not mine.

Excellent effect! Extremely well thought out. Even after receiving all the material, I wasn't
quite sure how it worked without watching the video. After watching the video, I realize it was
designed very well and the method was well thought out. It is very easy to do and very effective.
This is the best ring vanish and production ever designed! It comes with two very simple bead
chains, but I didn't expect it to come with a gold chain. However, now that I understand the
concept, I could have a real gold chain modified that would work with the rest of the gimmicks. I
highly recommend it.

At first I had a problem finding an excuse to clean the ring that wasn't obvious to everyone. I then
added to the routine at the end of "The Deluxe Nest of Wallets" and found it to make the perfect
complement to each other. After performing the ring vanish to the wallets it makes an easy transfer
to the Closure routine. Both routines together are dynamite!!! They are Both well worth the price!!!
