I swear I'm going to master just one of these tricks!
Okay, lets me honest. The material
here is probably the most challenging presented on the Live Lecture series. There is I good chance
that I will never be able to do a single routine shown. Yet, I enjoyed this lecture so much.
Sometimes you have a situation where the secrets are just as entertaining as the magic itself.
I shake my head sometimes wondering where he comes up with these moves.
He does a good job
of teaching each effect, covering the moves and angles well. He teaches a lot of the tricks he has
put out on DVD. So watch some of the trailers for his stuff, and if you like what you see, then you
will enjoy this lecture.
Again, this is not easy stuff, but soooo candy.

So many card tricks, but in the middle of the video he do a one coin routine. So good !
The tricks and moves are difficult. So many times he references Dan and Dave Video (if you like
flourishes you already have heard about them).
The great thing is that he had pleasure in
showing the tricks. This time there were so few questions at the end because Nat asked him to show
his (Nat) favorite tricks/moves and the guy not only showed but in many cases he explained too
(despite being difficult to do =) )!

if you are seriously into very visual card magic this is heaven for you. But have in mind this stuff
takes practice, a LOT of practice. It is worth it though. This has good close up and even some
stage. It is overall amazing.

Challenging but excellent material. I will be spending a lot of time with my player on slow and lots
of repeats.

A lot of the tricks were very hard. The hardest one was the twisting the aces routine. Even though
it is hard, I think it is worth it. Shin Lim did a great job.

Ok so I have to say that most of it is card stuff and very visual but very hard to learn. you gonna
have to practice alot. One thing I didnt like was that Shim Lin was not that entertaining as other
performers on penguin live. Great material but boring magician.

This is so good! He explains everything very well and the tricks are very good, but a little hard. I
like it anyway! 5 Stars! Keep it up Shin!

this is the greatest lecture I attend so far. it is that good.
Shin himself has magic hands, but even a moderately talented magician would not be able to do his
repertoire consistently. That takes away from the “lecture value” despite being very cool. It is
wonderful to see his color changes, but not useful. Great guy. Personable. And works hard to be
helpful. But he has gone so far beyond the average viewer that it becomes an outstanding show, not
lecture.
