Three cool effects where he teaches how to make three different gimmicks. What I really like is that all three gimmicks are super easy to have with you. What I don't like is it is painful to watch each explanation. he explains them well, but it's like you are watching the DVD in painful slow motion. I guess it's good to learn (and it is), but I had to fast forward as he showed me again and again how to cut each entire one out with scissors (I went to Kindergarten, I know how to use scissors). There is a really cool bonus way of doing watermark that occurs to me that he didn't talk about: Have half a dozen gimmicks in your wallet as he shows how to keep them, and have the participant mentally select a card from the deck with a combination of magician force and free selection. Force a suit, odd numbers, and eliminate the court cards. Let them freely select 1,3,5,7,or 9 (only five cards). They just felt like they had a free choice amongst many more. Allow them to change their mind at the end. "You have 7 of hearts. Do you want to change your mind? 5 of heart? 9 of hearts?" I like to have them imagine a deck in new deck order as if it is on several "the price is right" wheels. This way, toward the end, they have just the wheel with the various force cards and they can spin the wheel back a few numbers or forward. Once you have the card, as you do the move he teaches, pick the gimmick that matches their selection. I love the idea of having some easy gimmicks to carry with me, I don't love the idea of always having to carry a deck of cards.
All in all, Highly recommended.

This DVD has 3 effects on it that in my opinion are bad! The first effect Chapped is not very well thought out for one main reason, you could never carry the chapstick in jean pockets, it has to be carried in a lose pair of sweats or a lose coat pocket, can't tell you why, but trust me. Also, it doesn't end very clean. Shades blew me away when I watched the promo because let's face it, ink moving tricks are great. My biggest complaint about this trick is the set up. Without giving away the method, it is noticable to the human eye and executing the final phase is not real smooth. When explained on the DVD it is noticable how awkward it can be to complete, and then it doesn't end clean, so you are left with the gimmick. The third effect watermark is probably the best effect on the DVD. Although it doesn't end clean and the initial set up is kind of a pain the effect is decent. The one major problem is the ending. The watermark is there when you have the bill, but when you hand it back it is gone and in my mind the spectator will say where did it go. Everything happens in your hands leaving the feel of real magic out.

whats SHADES AND THE CHAP STICK, WOW, shades is my favorite one, everyone, i mean everyone i showed it too flips out, its not that hard to learn, my fellow magician is begging to know it, but i keep the magicians code, then the cap stick is good too cause its winter time and people has chapsticks and its a good trick to perform, they are also easy to learn, it took me 3 days to take it to the streets, i wanted to perfect it, shades is my number one trick that i have to have on me.. the dvd was ok, and eric explained it pretty good, i'll buy more from eric ross in the future.. thanks... i'd recomond buying this....

very useful and great ideas for revealing forced cards love the reaction i get from the watermark bill and definately cool shades.

When i performed it to my friends at school, they went nuts...buy it...ever since i learn this trick & been performing it.. I've been nicknamed the" the magic man".. Ours a good feeling...

The promo video looks great. It is very misleading. Watch it and notice the camera cuts and attention away from the hand after each effect.
Chapstick effect you are left holding gimmick. No advice on video how to ditch it. The bill effect looks incredible, it is similar idea to Paul Harris nightshade. Again left very dirty. The last effect you cannot let spectator examine bill or else it is very obvious. To me, eveyone will want to look at the bill so you better come up with creative excuse. Enjoyed watching the video, can't say that I will or have performed any of the effect. I suppose if you put a lot of thought how to structure the routines to end up clean, it is worth it

Watermark is another fantastic trick! I have spectators take out their camera and get a photo of the final product which works as nice misdirection as well. Just about to prepare/perform Chapped but if its anyhting like the other 2 trick (which Im sure it is) then I cant wait!

Icould care less about the lighting in the DVD (you see everything fine) and Eric covers every inch of each effect! To tell you the truth I wasnt expecting a whole lot and now I have 3 amazing workers that take up no space!

BUY it and you'll see what I mean! 1 effects is worth the price of the whole DVD. Trust me, if this were bad Id call it out .. but it's amazing! Ivealready been performing Election and Eric has allowed 3 more effects to go straight into my working routine.
Do yourself a favor and get this .. you wont be disappointed at all! This is eye candy and it's easy to do!!!

It's alright. I bought this way back in 2013, it's just okay, never got around to using it. The chapstick reveal is nice, but "gimmicky" if that makes sense. If you're into that though, then cool. Not much else to say, I don't remember this one haha

I mostly bought this DVD for the shades trick.
The other two are great effects also. Shades
though gets the biggest laughs and surprise
reactions. In my opinion if you buy this just
for the shades gag/trick, you'll get a great
deal. It may not be the greatest video quality,
but the presentations and secrets are really all
that matter.
