This is the first time I bought a Mathieu Bich product.
The other reviews seem a little
harsh... My experience with this trick got great reviews and reactions. Yes, it's a "one trick pony"
but how many other effects can you only do one time, or require a card to be forced?
Just
like with every routine you learn in magic, you are going to have to work on the handling and card
position. It's a given, and a part of learning magic. This trick is very easy to perform if you take
the time to learn it. It really is not difficult at all. This trick fools people.
If you
are a beginner in magic, you should probably skip this.

Edge is an extremely clever set up! It is a very convincing trick and people are easily amazed by
it. And it's very easy to do. No skill involved!

This product will be worth every cent if purchased. It is an awesome effect, and the reactions I
have gotten from it were priceless. It is also as portable as it could possibly be. I carry it
everywhere I go. I would give some cons with the pros, but I can't. There are none. Mathieu Bich
creates awesome products, and this is one of his top ones.

I've been at magic for long time and I thought this was one of the most clever gimmicks. Not only
do I love Mathieu Bich but I cannot get over the awesome edge gimmick. I've preformed it many times
and each time I got a sweet reaction. And it's easy to do. Professional or beginner, you won't
regret buying edge.

"After release of this effect, we learned that Tom Gagnon published a similar concept in 1994. While
Edge was created independently by Mathieu Bich in July of 2000, we extend full credit to Tom Gagnon
as the first to publish an effect similar in technique and method to Edge."

I have gotten awesome reactions from this trick. People have even screamed in excitement. It is an
awesome gimmick that you can take everywhere with you, and I enjoy doing the trick myself. It looks
very professional. Mathieu Bich has been my favorite Magician for a long time, and this only made
me like him more.

I like this trick. It's pretty easy to prepare although it does take a little thought to get it
going. After that, it's worth the effort. I use it as a quick little trick and the reveal of the
spectators signed card always get an astonished laugh.

Very cool effect!!! Get this if you live for reactions and fooling people. Easy to perform, not much
practice needed, awesome reactions(w/ the routine I created). BE CAREFUL WITH THE CONSTRUCTION!!!
Don't use anything permanent at first. Then blot the permanent. TAKE YOUR TIME or you will bleed!!!
Wish this would have came premade on some sense but the effect gets 5 stars.
my routine:
BIRTHDAY FORCE COUNT - ask the spectator their birth month and date. Say August 15th but use
8/15. Ask the spectator to choose one of her birth numbers. This makes it personal and creates more
magic as if it's their free choice.
ODD COUNT - if your deck is set up right, you will
always look for the odd numbered card 1,3,5,7-31 (doesn't go past 31. Perfect for the birthday force
count. You'll see). Say if she chose her birth month "8", deal out eight cards (in their hand or
table) face down so they can't see. When you deal the eighth card, give them the next card, the
ninth card and the force is complete. If she chose her birth day(15), give her the 15th card. Just
always force the odd numbered card.
NOTES: I like it more when they select "their" card,
to NOT reveal it yet. Do the effect and then ask them to reveal their card to everyone.
you can take it a step further with my routine with the double message and do a card switch. I
leave that routine to your imagination.
