i was kind of dissapointed he doesnt share the routine he does on his dvd (he does a version of
cards to pocket whch he doesnt teach).. the prop, the box. everything is great but it seems they
rushed out the dvd.. i had to get papperclipped from jay sankey so i could see a full routine so i
could use this.. so yes.. it is great but the dvd is kind of dissapointing..

I have other great products by David Penn ( Coinvexed 2.0 & Refraction ) but he's outdone himself
with FOB. This is a miracle on your keychain just waiting to happen. It's also versatile.
The trailer shows a signed card trick, but you can use this for mentalism ( billet work ) tricks
with bills, etc. It's open to what your imagination can come up with. The DVD teaching is very
thorough and the switch is a natural action that fools the eye.

I noticed in one of the reviews that you are required to know the Mercury Card Fold to perform this
effect. That's not entirely true for two reasons. The first is that the 36-minute DVD explains how
to do the fold in a few ways. So it's not as if the instructions tell you to "perform an
alternate-finger shuffle" without telling you what an alternate-finger shuffle is. Second, the DVD
shows several ways of performing the necessary fold including right in front of the spectators.
That said, the basic effect is that the spectators are shown a clear plastic key fob. It has a
folded playing card inside and stays in plain view at all times. The spectator then freely selects a
card from a deck and signs it. Ultimately, the sign card is produced from the fob--which, again, has
been in plain view the entire time. (Of course, there's no reason for the card to be in view. The
fob could later be produced from a pocket.)
I rate this product with five stars for the
following reasons:
1. It's adaptable. Use money, predictions, or almost anything else that can
fit inside the fob or be folded to fit.
2. It's sturdy. I have not had the trick long, but I
cannot really imagine that the fob will break any time soon.
3. It's easy for novices to get the
hang of and perform passable effects, but it's even better for people with more skill.
4. The
explanations are clear, both for the easier and for the harder effects.
Granted, there are
not many complete routines here, but I've always preferred to get an adaptable tool (say, for
example, a stripper deck) and let my imagination take me from there. Copying someone else's routine
is OK, I suppose, but I'd much rather have someone thinking "How'd he do that?" than "Wow, that's
just like David Blaine did it."

This is not good, and I know David came with this idea before than Joao Miranda(vision box)but vision
box is really work well.this is difficult to use and carefully should keep that in your hand.

This is a very powerful effect, it is fun to perform, easy to do and the gimmick is very sturdy and
built to last. You can carry this around with you everywhere you go, even if you don't carry cards
with you, you can use the gimmick to switch out bills, receipts, predictions or anything you can
fit inside of it. The switch looks amazing and very convincing.
This is very comparable to
Jay Sankey's "Paperclipped", but has a more sophisticated and elegant look to it. It doesn't look
like a gadget or magic prop and the fact that it is clear and see thru I think definitely makes the
switch very strong and foolproof.
If you are on a tight budget I would recommend you buy
Jay Sankey's Paperclipped DVD which is cheaper than this and he teaches you much more ideas and uses
for it. But if your like me and have owned paperclipped for years, you will find this new concept
quite fun and practical. If you have the money, I would recommend getting both, they are both
excellent products that will get you very strong reactions!

One of the best card to impossible locations you can do for walk around. This has other applications
with bill to impossible location and mentalism. The DVD productions values are pretty high. The
teaching is very well done and to the point ( no long drawn out explanations). The packaging is good
too. Their is very little bad I can really say about this really. Overall if you need a card to
impossible location and you don't want to use a wallet buy it.

fantastic.

A clever gimmick (don't let the simplicity fool you - this works very well) and excellent routining
make this a keeper. The fob itself is a bit chunky, but has to be to hold a quarter folded card. If
you like Jay Sankey's "paper clipped" effect, you'll want to pick up FOB.

He DVD is excellent however, it assumes you already know the mercury card fold. I have done the
mercury card fold for a number of years, it takes hours of practice to do it. If you are capable of
doing the fold this is an excellent use of it the real world.
