I love this routine and it fits my style of performing I give it only 4 stars because I believe it
is a bit over priced. Sure you get a salt shaker with the deal, but I can get a set for a couple of
bucks at the local store a prop not needed as an extra for the EXTRA price. I have been doing coin
magic for years so it was easy for me to adapt to the moves, he explains almost everything very
well, but there are a couple of moves he shows that you can can do, but aren’t necessary. He shows
the moves, but gives no explanation one such move is the up and over move. A beautiful move I never
seen before and would have loved to learn it. but sadly he does not go into any detail of how to
perfom it. That being said it does not diminish the quality of the routine. One thought as I watched
it for the first time was it seems to have a little bit of that old school magic style quality to
it, which is a good thing I believe, it’s still a modern routine. We just don’t see this kind of
style to much anymore in magic, which may be part of the reason why Jon Racherbaumer was quoted as
saying Vernon would have wept and with the overall great misdirection used in this routine it is a
great piece to watch and learn. If the price was a little cheaper I would have given it 5 stars.

Giovanni is am amazing teacher, the routine is fantastic, and the DVD is phenomenal. At 30 or 40
dollars this would be an easy 5 star. But paying 50 dollars for a DVD and a cheap salt shaker? Eh,
really? Still it is worth it, and I look forward to see his future releases.

A great routine...not for beginners.. well worth a lot of practice.

Since the camera can't misdirect, much of an effect is lost. I've always said to non-magician
friends see magic live, or don't see it. I love being fooled. And watching Giovanni perform this
effect it took me back to feeling like a layperson again. Not sure I agree with the "It's easy"
reviews. It isn't. You need a good foundation in coins before you even attempt this. This piece
prioritizes the presentation, and downplays the skill. Which is how a real magic effect should be
performed. Perform this with confidence, and you'll be so far ahead of your audience. They won't
know what hit them.

Everything you need is on the table to start with at a restaurant. This routine is filled with magic
with many phases that continue to amaze the spectators. This truly is misdirection at its finest. It
is quite expensive, but it is a definite worker and is immediately going into my restaurant set.

Giovanni's powerful misdirection in this performance matches that of Goshman and Slydini however it
will take much practice to be able to perform this effect. Not for the faint of heart. Those that do
master it will have an extremely entertaining routine that will last a lifetime.

I don't usually post reviews, but I just watched the performance section of this DVD and this is a
very strong and deceptive routine. It is superb!

Very well filmed clear instructions. He’s left handed so they have the video instruction flipped in
the extras for right handers. Each step is explained then performed. Great explanations for
beginners like me. I can’t wait to get proficient at this.
