I must say this lecture is the very first alan rorrison item i have ever brought and i'm so happy i
brought it. There are some incredible ideas most of which will require gimmickes to be made or
brought but they are very easy to construct or find if they need to be brought. I will not go
through every effect ad there are too many but some of my favourites are
Pulled - Visually
link a borrowed ring, pull tab, or key to a borrowed drink can pull tab.
Missleading
Misslead - Visually penetrate a borrowed pen through a borrowed bill or bank note.
Impromptu NFW - Alan takes the classic card effect NFW and makes it completely impromptu there
for allowing the cards to be examined at the end.
Broken Home - Borrow a bunch of keys from
a spectator and then break one of their key stems off the key and swallow it and spit it back on or
just melt it back on.
Through - Borrow a bill or bank note and visually pass and penetrate
the bill either with another bill or playing card or even headphones.
Matrix - Alan takes
the classic coin matrix effect and takes it entirely in the spectators hands a gimmick will need to
be brought seperately for this effect but it's worth it.
So those are my favourite effects
from the lecture as i said it's a great lecture but the reason i only gave four stars was because i
won't use every effect from this lecture as some of them don't fit my style but i do appreciate how
clever alan's ideas are, also some of the phone routines require downloads which aren't really given
as to where you can get them. But seriously don't let thst put you off this lecture is great BUY IT
NOW!!

Some decent magic in this lecture. One effect does go wrong on him during the explanation. This is
the only effect that I personally would not use. Everything about this lecture is what I'd call
different. Overall, good effects are taught and most are useable. Worth the chips for me.

This is a SUPER lecture!
I'll be using almost everything on here!
I am now an
Alan Rorrison fan....he really thinks outside of the box...even for a magician.
Cons: Most
tricks require some set up...a lot of the tricks require a web link to be sent from Alan
himself....or for him to send it to Penguin....I have not seen them yet :(
Even with that,
I would still recommend it.

This lecture has tricks for every close up performer. There is stuff with cards, coins, shot glass,
versions of mislead. The stuff goes from 5 seconds setup, to gimmicks, to impromptu. His 3 shot
slammer routine I will defiantly be using along with the mislead. This was also a fun lecture to
watch, very funny.

The lecture itself is great, you get a lot of great tricks and very thorough explanations for all of
them. My one and only gripe is that to do some tricks he explained that you need a link or a file to
download and use, which didn't come with it. I think you can probably find them if you search, but
as of yet I haven't. Other than that this lecture is very much worth the buy to get a look inside
the mind of such a great creator such as Alan!

First of all, Alan Rorrison is simply an entertaining teacher. Secondly, he teaches some high
quality magic. He teaches everything from table magic, walk-around, coin magic, card magic, iPhone
tricks, formal, and informal. Rather then relying on clever and bold methods than lots of
knuckle-busting sleight of hand, most of the tricks, once you learn the method, are pretty easy.
This, however does not mean these tricks are any less stunning. At least 3 of these are going into
my working repertoire. Alan taught a lot of things from his DVD Of the Little Things Vol. 1. He also
taught a killer coin matrix effect that happens in the spectators hands, which he performed on Penn
and Teller's Fool Us. Overall, its a jam packed 3.5 hour lecture full of great tricks. However, if
you do not have a smart phone, you won't be able to do, but the other tricks are well worth the
price of the lecture.

Alan is one of the most created minds in magic. This lecture gave me a lot of insight and direction
to where I want to take my magic. Alan's ideas and philosophy on magic is truly a valuable part to
take your magic to the next level. Although Alan brings a lot of magic to the table. This lecture
isn't just about doing magic tricks. It's covers the: "Why, What's and Where we do magic. Alan gives
tips and advice on where we get the tools we need to do magic and it gets the beginner, amature and
serious magician thinking like a pro. Alan even throughs in an extra live performance of a hard
hitting transposition card trick! Yes, he gives the explanation. I highly recommend this lecture!
