I love doing this trick for people whenever I have the chance to! It is one of the only card tricks
I do because Im not a really a card guy, but this trick is a great card effect and no one has ever
seen anything like this!
Pros:
-Super Visual, Creative, and Fun
-Easy to do
-Beyond expectations in the teaching
-Great reactions!
Cons:
-A little lengthly
for me
-Have to buy a card mat (only like $10 online)
-Not something you can carry around
all the time (unless you do walk around, its great for walk around)
Overall great effect
and I love to use this a lot! Great job Justin!

It is a really great effect and if you don't have the original (which is a crime if you don't) buy
that, and then after you do the Mona Lisa one you can say something like, "That's a great way to
make some art. But why not you try making some art as well?" you then bring out or do a deck switch
to CA2, and then you can go into the CA2 Routine and have them make their own art and do this and
you've got a miracle. btw be sure and watch DVD until the end, the last handling of it is a great
one if you use misdirection in your show.

This is a great effect. It will take some practice (may I also suggest a close up mat).
Prior to purchasing, I knew how the effect was done but still wanted this to be able to perform.
I liked the look of the card in the demo video. However, the cards you receive do not have the white
rim along the sides as bicycle playing cards do on the back. This may not be a huge issue for most,
but the cards stand out a bit more while holding the deck.
Will a spectator notice,
probably not. However, the cards Justin Flom uses are slightly different than the ones that you now
receive.
I am excited to be able to perform this though, and I am sure you will too!

this effect and 'just great, fasta be able to do a partial lighthouse and you'll get a miracle, the
cards are made in a very good, in the hands of a cardician becomes a miracle.
Laypeople think it's fantastic. It's something different and entertaining. I'd get both versions.
Happy with my purchase. Only caveat is that you do need a mat and table space to lay the cards down.
Overall this trick is nice and the quality of the Gimmick is good but one thing that I disliked is
how you have to have this other thing in order for it to work... I don't know how do I tell the
spectators why I need it or whatever but yea... Cool trick but I haven't really gotten a chance to
really perform it because of "that" thing that is needed.
I have no idea how to do this and purchaased Card Artistry to learn how to do this. Once I have it
down it will be stunning.
This is one of those tricks that I bought just to obtain the gimmicks, I was familiar with the
method and the basic working moves that are associated with the Card Artistry effects, and I was
still very satisfied with what was sent by Penguin. The gimmicks were very well made and the DVD
was quite instructional-The DVD even showed me an improvement on how I had performed one of the
moves for many years. This plays well to a live audience with the addition of some clever patter.
The quality DVD also reminded me that an older magician was not too old to learn something new!
WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE IS NO GIMMICK?!?!?!?!?!?!
When I ordered this I expected there to
be some fancy roller gimmick that pushes the cards out one at a time. I knew it would have to be
thin because he spreads the cards after the painting, but I at least thought it had to be an
adhesive or something. NOTHING NOTTA ZILCH! You get the painted cards and the DVD that's IT!
This is beyond awesome as all you need to be able to do the trick is the back (Rubber) of a
closeup mat or other such pad and you are all set. A few SIMPLE sleights to convince them the cards
are mixed and you got it! AMAZING!
Sure this is not a trick in itself but if you convince
them that the cards are mixed before you start painting, then this becomes impossible!
I am
a performer at the local renaissance festival and I will be working this into my act as it features
a painting by Leonardo DaVinci. How fitting!
I really liked CA1 better. This is good don't get me wrong but the mona lisa has more of a punch I
think. But go Justin! I always have loved your products, keep going strong.
