They do. They really do. Straight outta the box and they won't fan, when you spring they feel clunky and messy. With a bucket load of powder you can get them to fan but it's really not worth the hassle. I never use them for flourishes or anything else. If you want some magic castle memorabilia then go for it but other just buy another deck of bikes.

When you think of 3 dollar decks of cards, you don't often think of great quality...

...These are the exception. These are of UNBEATABLE quality. I LOVE these things, and they work WONDERS for any sort of magic act. They have a stock that is (in my opinion) closer to that of good casino cards than that of normal Bicycles. I LOVE these things and they are a cost effective alternative to normal cards. Plus, it has been my experience that they last longer.

I love these cards, and I highly recommend them. Just think of all the possibilities that you could use these for, patter wise.
