I mainly perform for friends & family at gatherings and made no mistake when I added this one to
cart. Not only can you visually restore all the single paper clippings into a whole newspaper again
but you end the routine in style by restoring the hole on the front page.
This is my first
newspaper type trick and it's definitely worth the $24 bucks.
The DVD covers everything
you require to perform this effect.
The newspaper restoration is really fun and you'll be
doing it infront of the mirror many times over because it just looks awesome. As always, practice
makes PERFECT!

I give this 5 stars because my audience loves this newspaper restore. What can I say? If it plays
well and works everytime, who am I to complain?
That being said, the DVD is easy to follow and
Mark's instruction on fabricating the gimmick is right on. Making the gimmick the first time should
take about 20 minutes. Any future construction will certainly be faster(10 min)...not that 20
minutes is so damn long...lol.
Nonetheless, I've performed this over 50 times with the original
gimmick and it's still working perfectly. I'm pleasantly surprised because with all the folding and
unfolding during the performance, one figures that the paper may not hold up very well. I assure you
that it does!
In closing, great trick, great responses, fair price, easy to perform by anyone
e.g. my 11 yr old daughter for her class, fast reset...quit reading and add to cart now!

This effect isn't going to be a gamble. It won't end up in the junk drawer. It is realistic and
practical to perform. Mark Mason has a few different effects that are solid so when I saw the high
rating for this effect I decided to try it. If you are wanting to add a T&R newspaper effect to your
repertoire I reccommend this one.

I struggled as to whether or not to puchase this one ... I'd had the original version for years but
never performed it. After viewing the demo, I thought the effect was different enough to give it a
shot.
Well, no regrets. It's simple to learn and perform, once you get your "props"
assembled. The video directions are clear and funny.
I had the opportunity to perform it
about a week after it arrived for a group of several hundred senior adults, using essentially the
presentation on the video. It was jaw-droppingly effective. I heartily recommend this one.

I love this effect. I saw someone perform this effect a year ago. I grew up on the classic method of
the TNR Newspaper but this? This is the Big Boy Effect! I performed this for the first time in front
of an audience 2 weeks ago and have never gotten a reaction so huge from an audience. My shows have
doubled for the next month.
Thanks to Andy Dallas for creating the effect and Mark Mason for a
lovely routine.

A Great trick well done and good instructions. That being said, the prep work involved is not easy.
It takes lots of time and practice. Correctly done, it's an eye-catcher. But you have to be willing
to put the effort and work into this trick. I prefer self-working tricks.
The best torn newspaper trick out there. Mr Mason does an excellent job performing, explaining, and
showing how to construct the trick. (He is quite funny as well - I use his jokes in my routine). It
does take a few minutes to make, however it is completely worth the time as this trick KILLS! I have
performed a few times for family and friends and they are amazed. The best part is the ending when
they think I "forgot" to complete the trick with hole in the front page. I have purchased some
tricks that I will never use, this is not one of them! Money well spent.
I constructed the newspaper according to the tutorial and was able to complete it as described.
(An over-the-shoulder camera view might have made the construction a little easier).
It's a
clever gimmick. After some practice I was able
to do the restoration cleanly. For me it's a
matter of not dropping the newspaper during the performance.
The 2nd part of the restoration is
a nice transition and distraction from the first part.
The funny headlines are great and its a
great way to
stretch out the effect.
Cool magic!
Everyone loves a nice restoration. I mean really, what could anyone say other than great things
about this trick? Every spectator you perform this for will love it. Hands down.
To put it
plainly, if you love performing awesome magic, getting big reactions, and feeling like you have
special powers, then this is the one to ADD TO CART!
