To Chris and others regarding the price (also posted on the Cafe)
1. Congratulations GREAT
TRICK.
2. The retail price is 10 bucks higher than anyone wants to pay but I am not sorry I
purchased and I agree the gimmick is durable.
3. As with a lot of trick it would be REALLY NICE
If there were some way for verified purchasers to be able to purchase additional gimmicks and
envelopes at a discounted price. It is to easy to accidently mistreat a gimmick like this and need
another. In addition it would be fun to play with the various "marked" envelope ideas you guys had
without feeling you can't go back. I know wanting extra gimmicks a common request for all tricks and
I know it's hard to make money selling gimmicks but we can hope.

This is my second review on Penguin. This effect may seem pricey but it is an absolute home run!
Easily worth the asking price. Beyond jaw dropping reactions. People are simply mystified and left
stunned without a clue as to how what they saw can be anything short of a real life camera trick.
Many people forget how to speak for a few minutes after seeing this effect performed. The thinking
that went into this effect and the fact that you can perform literally within minutes of receiving
this effect makes this a very fair price. The simplicity is so beautiful. Great job Brandon & Chris
on an impressive HIGH IMPACT illusion. This review is here for a reason. Trust it. Achilles

If you think you know how this effect works then you are probably correct. It's over priced for a
gimmick that doesn't cost much to make. I don't care for the structure of the trick. I'm not a big
fan of handing props out prior to preforming. Also you don't end completly clean.

I performed this for the first time last night at a walk-around gig. While I did not get the
freak-out reactions the guys in the trailer got (I guess I need to work on my presentation), I did
get stunned silence. Every group I performed it for would just stare. After it sunk it, I would
reveal their signed card and then finally the reappearance of the deck. I've done many signed card
routines but this was the first one that prompted the response (from 7 out of the 10 groups) to ask
if they could keep their signed card. The gimmick is well made and should last a very long time.
Others have talked about it so I'm not going to add anymore on that. One of the things I like the
most is it takes up ZERO pocket space and resets instantly. I have the gimmick in the card box with
the deck and slide the envelope into the cellophane. Perfect trick for walk-around! Well done
fellas!

Whenever I see a trick, there are only two things to consider before I buy it; 1)will I use it.
2)can I afford it. If the answer to both are YES, then I purchase it. At that point, the cost isn't
important. Sure, I've been disappointed a number of times. This however, is not one of those times.
This is a revolutionary improvement on the "Card to Envelope" premise...and it's priced
appropriately. Seriously, this is a powerful worker!..give this all the practice it
deserves!.....enjoy!

The whole package is there. DVD instruction is minimal, but more than adequate. The gimmick is fine,
audience has never noticed the crease when I perform, or caught the gimmick. I was caught on the
street by a spec performing a necessary switch and I was able to nod and respond that I HAD done
something funny with my hand, but watch closely anyway. He was equally floored by the effect. The
audience's attention is focused on a card leaving the deck to enter an envelope and BAM! I love it.

When I first tried the gimmick, it felt really weird and I could have sworn it is too easily
spottable, but after I looked into mirror I realized that it's not the case. The transformation
itself takes some practice if you want it to look natural and don't want to flash, but that is to be
expected. Definitely not one of the hardest tricks, you should be able to get in right in just a few
hours.
Overall 5/5, would buy again.

It's easy to do but just a little bad angles which doesn't matter really but I think it's a little
overpriced for what you get :)
But it's really cool idea that works every time.

Another great trick from Penguin Magic. After reading some of the reviews, I've seen where a lot
cannot find 3.5 x 2.5 envelopes. Createforless.com carries them. You can get 25 for $2.49/package.

It does exactly what you saw in the demo. Envy-Lope is a special effect you can have on you at all
times. I will be using this a lot.
