Absolutely overpriced. Definitely not worth a single DVD. Both, props and technique employed are so
common that there is hardly anything new in the presentation. Can find hundreds of similar effects
in the ESP chapter of many old books (check Nick Trost, may be…?). Dissapointed...

Great idea - clever re-working of an older concept.
However price is a bit too high for
what is contained in the package.
DVD is short and to the point.
The USP cards
(Bike backs) which come with this are disappointing - better cards should have been included at this
price.
Overall a good idea that I could see myself doing but Alakazam has put out better
stuff for the $.

Every little kid knows the secret to this trick. Its a shame to sell it!
And for that money,
they should have at least given the gimmick. But no, you have to do it youreself, which will look
crapy no matter how good you are. And I am good in such stuff.
What a big big shame!!!

The trick itself is not bad, but it is a Alakazam Rip off! This is nothing new. They do not even
include the gimmicks with a lame excuse. They include cards you have to prepare yourself, they could
have included the prepared cards, but they wanted to safe money. This is the cheapest and most
overpriced effect I ever bought from Alakazam Magic. They should be ashamed of themselves to take
that much money from people. No real dvd case as well, every thing as cheap as possible.
Don't buy, buy any ESP Magic book, you'll find the effect…..

Can you at least provide me the trick ready to go? I agree with the other reviewer that the excuse
to not prep the trick for you is very lame and obviously cheaper to supply it that way. Charge me $5
more and give me a finished trick, eh?

Get Jazz Mentalism by Dave which appears in a couple of Michael Murray's releases instead, much
better outcomes and you get so much other great stuff with it.

I really liked watching the trailer for this effect and watched it many time. I also read the other
reviews and realize some say there are other ways of doing this effect.
Taking all into
consideration I purchased Rhine's Revenge.
It is very simple to learn and blows minds every
time I perform it. The best part is that I have immediately repeated it ( only once or it will loose
it's effectiveness ) and purposely goofed a bit only to end up with the perfect finish.
if
you want a beautiful ESP effect that is simple to learn and blows mind this is it.

Very clever prediction mind reading routine using esp cards. You dont' really need the cards
provided, you can just get blank cards and set them up yourself in case you lose your gimmicks. With
some practice, you can really fool laypeople. I've done this a few times and most of the time, it
really worked. The few times it didn't were mostly my fault, which I can't really explain without
giving something away, but hey, totally impromptu and can start doing right away. One lesson I
learned: do it only ONCE to an audience, but of course that's pretty much a rule for every magic
trick.

This is a great little ESP effect.I use this along with ZENNER-TECH and Peter Nardis ESPerfect. You
can have a great deal of fun with these all put together, but as a stand alone, great. I don't get
what our friend is saying about the cards though. Bicycle ESP cards are what they are. The DVD is
concise and to the point, so if you enjoy a bit of ESP I would recommend this and a red sharpie!!
All the best my friends ;)

I'm a fan of ESP effects and I was really hoping to love Rhine's Revenge. The problem for me is not
the price--it's the method. To successfully pull off the effect you must do a special move at the
precise moment many watchful spectators will be burning your hands. The whole effect is based upon
the assumption that you've put YOUR cards are in the same order as THEIR cards. If there needs to
be funny business or card movement it certainly shouldn't happen at EXACTLY the moment they're
watching you reveal your stack. I'm aware you can try to do "the move" during a misdirected off
beat but believe me when I say this will be impossible with certain spectators. They'll be staring
at your cards waiting for the mind-blowing reveal and you'll be absolutely stuck. Short of
screaming, "Hey! Look behind you! It's Denzel Washington!" and then doing the move, there's no way
out. Imagine a dice trick where you claim the spectator can choose a number between one and
six--and then you'll roll that exact number. This trick's solution to that effect would be, "Well,
if you don't roll the number the spectator chose, just casually pick up the die and spin it around
to the chosen number when the spectator isn't looking." What?! WHAT?! Come on, Alakazam. You're
better than this.
