Meh! He went on and on for what could have been explained in 15 minutes. The exicution is indeed
simple, however, it cannot be performed with ANY borrowed bottle as he claims. The label placement
is very key to masking the gimmick. I'm at the bar right now and over half the beer bottles I'm
seeing would never work. But that's OK. Just use one that will. The one option for disappearing the
cap utilizing the table is subject to a high failure rate without background noise and low lighting.
Probably not something I will perform too often unless the conditions are just right. I picked it up
in the Cool Box so no big deal because it was the cost of a drink. But definately not worth $25

Not bad BUT if you already own captured by Justin miller then I wouldn't recommend this

I bought this as an open box item. Thank God!!! The trick isn't bad (at least the "in-hand" version)
but the dvd should have been edited a lot better. The performances of the table version (in a
kitchen) were laughable. Someone would have to be CRAZY to try that after seeing how well it didn't
work for Jordan. I paid less than $10 with shipping so I can't complain too much. However, you don't
need a PK ring and there is an impromptu version (but not near as visual). In the end, the trick is
worth it if you can get it for a cheap price.

Wasting the $25 for the 1 hour tutorial. Keep talking the same and same thing over and over again.

Once the concept is understood, you will have to come up with your own handling. Forget the table
technique.

I got this as an open box item, so I didn't pay the full amount for it and am generally not unhappy
with the price to product ratio I got it for, though I think I would've been had I paid full price.
This isn't so much a bad effect as it is a comparatively lesser one - ie, there are better tricks to
spend your money on.
-Though it has nothing to do with the trick, the production quality
on the DVD is lower than what you'll find on more current tricks (but admittedly better than other
DVDs I've bought). Take that at face value - it has nothing to do with the trick or the effect, but
it was the first thing I noticed.
- There's not a natural way to start the trick. He talks
about bringing it up in a bar where there are already bottles, but the setup required doesn't lend
itself to natural transitions out of conversations you have in a bar.
- It's potentially
easy to see what's happening. I think a spectator would get this trick easier than they would get
another trick, and therefore it wouldn't amaze them as much as others.
- For me at least,
the effect doesn't have a bit enough "wow" impact. It's kind of cool, but a quick French drop would
impress people more, and that a ton easier to less time consuming to present.
I give Jordan
a ton of credit for thinking through the routine and putting this together. There’s definitely a
lot of thought put into this. But for me the production time necessary to produce it is not worth
the level of reactions I think it would produce, and so I won’t be putting it into my routine.
I purchased this item thinking I would get some decent ideas and presentations since I'm sure we all
know the only way to get a cap in a bottle. I did walk away with a decent idea, but that's about it.
The hype for this is very misleading and others claim that the only idea I walked away with has been
around for some time. So I'm guessing if you have any insight to this effect you may already know
the "secret"
The signature piece intrigued me very much, but it's not practical at all!!
Without giving too much away or be edited, you have to ask a spectator to do something that you
NEVER do if you're asking them to sign something. Hope this helps. And if you're completely
oblivious to this effect and can get it for 10 or less pick it up....but with low expectations and
be ready to put your own handling into action. Also you will NEVER USE HIS "TABLE" METHOD.
other then his presentation really loved this effect, shot really well explained really with all in
all after a very short setup and some presentational type practice you'll be fooling all your
friends in no time
The ideas in Trapped are nothing new and Jordan's handlings are ok, but not exactly elegant. If you
haven't purchased other bottle cap in bottle effects, there are some decent ideas in this dvd that,
with some thought, you can improve upon yourself. If that's not your thing, then save your money, as
there are better effects on the market with handlings that are more deceptive.
In the video you see him putting it in the bottle but he doesn't show you everything
