This is an EXCELLENT piece of magic and something to really learn from. Not only is it a great
opener itself but it really teaches finer points of modular construction.
Kainoa is an
excellent teacher with great touches on coin magic. I've always enjoyed his work and his Live
Lecture was also really great. If you enjoy this and want to learn more that's a great place to
check out. He tips A LOT of great things in there.
So if you know a couple coin sleights
and want to know how to string them together properly. CHECK THIS OUT.

This is a well thought out Routine. The teaching is very good and IMHO you`ll get a great Routine
for your Money.
BTW of course you`ll have to practice, like you should do with everything you
will perform.

After several days of repeated tape watching and efforts to begin the sleights, I have an extra
review.
The biggest drawback I see is the FRENCH DROP approach to coin vanish. It's a stiff
vanish... stiff and something the magic community today general frowns on because it is not
natural...the argument against French Drop being that people don't hold coins or take coins that
way.
HOWEVER, HOWEVER...to be fair, this routine IS about a magician doing sleights with a
coin. You say that to the audience up front. So I think, upon further review, this is a nice routine
that matches the performer on this video -- dressed for a high-end audience and doing a stand-up
routine...not making any pretense about spontaneity.
I still do not like the French Drop,
though. Just get rid of how the vanishes start and you'll be okay.

The routine is well thought out and he does a fine job of presenting it. Harbottle is an
intellectual magician and it is a pleasure to see his analysis and presentation. I liked the DVD
very much. LL

I have been looking for a one coin routine and I found it!

Mr. Harbottle's one coin routine is so simple yet so well structured, that i think if i had to
choose only one routine to perform with coins, i would choose SOLO. This is a catchy piece of magic
with no hard moves and, if done fluently, it will look and feel like real magic.
Even knowing
how it is done (On Kaiona's site there is a similar routine that i bought), i enjoyed so much this
30 minute video that i had to review it.
His teaching style is perfect for any kind of level,
and you will be amazed with quantity and quality of information that you'll receive with this
download, even if you are an advanced coin magician.
I may never meet mr. Harbottle in person (I
live in Brazil), but i consider him the best teacher of coin magic today. With this download, his
Penguin Live Lecture and with his appearances on Reel Magic Magazine, you really don't need anything
else about coins.

I do NOT think some of his vanishes are visually effective.

I guess this flurry is pretty ok, it is visually nice, but there are no "surprises" like other
one-coin trick offers - you never feel baffled. But I think it is worth the money no doubt. Hope you
enjoy it.

I ve bought a couple of Harbottles routines which are great. But learning them takes extra effort
due to his left handedness.

Now a days coin magic consist in using multiple coins and gimmicks but this modern routine takes all
this apart, with just one coin you can make miracles, i have been doing close up shows for more than
3 years and recently have bought this effect and when i do my coin routine this is the effect that
gets the biggest reaction, such a simple effect i would recommend it 100 % does;t matter if you are
advance or a beginner the sleight can be easily learnt within a couple of hours
