As in the classic three-card monte routine, the magician displays one "winner card" along with two others, two eight of hearts cards, for example. The magician asks a spectator to try and follow the ace. All three cards are turned face down and one of the eights is even clearly shown and set aside to better the spectator's chances.

Now there are only two cards-there's a 50/50 chance the spectator will find the ace! The cards are mixed, but no matter what card the spectator chooses they can't find the ace because somehow it magically changed places with the eight that was set aside at the beginning! Everything may then be fully examined.

One of Henry's most direct and visual routines. Comes with three normal Bicycle cards (uses any three cards), the necessary secret gimmicks and photo-illustrated instructions.

You can do this routine close-up ADN surrounded!

Magicians that ordered this when it was first released only looked at the gaffs ( which are high quality ) and not the instructions. They "thought" the gaffs were highly visible: THEY ARE INVISIBLE if you read the instructions.

Look at the demo. Nothing to see, right?

This is great. I just went thru the basic handling and now will work out my patter for the effect. There is a seated and stand up version. I do more stand up but think this works better seated. As long as you control your angles you are good. There is nothing for the audience to directly see. There is always some cover and if you make your moves motivated and justifiable, that covers anything. I can definitely see this working. I just have to put in some practice now. Of course, I would do this along with a set where the effects are seated also. I should mention I am not up under somebody's nose when I am doing this. I use an adjustable table. So seated, you are talking 3-4 feet away.

I enjoy performing this routine but also perform a lot of strolling events and you almost have to be seated for this to work out correctly. Still a great add.

Theres no need to use gimmicks for a three card monte but if you want to then these are worth investing in. The routine is especially strong!

The gimmick is visible from any angle at almost any distance. Save the money and get Penguin Monte.

I used alot of 3 card monte and figured Id give this a shot. This is the WORST 3 card monter ever!!!! The Gimmick is terrible and anyone with 2 eyes can detect it and see the gimmick. Totally unusable in a live close up perfomance. Even if you do it 20 ft away you can still see the gimmick. Good idea but not practical at all. SImple AWEFUL. Waste of money- even if this is free you still cant use it...its that bad.
