This is just amazing. It is one of my favourite effects right now, and this is probably the easiest trick I know. A close-up workers dream. Surrounded, clean, visual, this has it all.

First off, I expected something like a subtracting pen or something like that. Well, no. The gimmick pen writes n'stuff. I love the gimmick and you will. This should last you forever, you can keep it in your pocket at all times. The pen is actually a shrunken down pocket version of an another amazing stage effect, I won't tell the name but most people know it.I don't think I am revealing much by saying that you get 2 pens. One is gimmicked and the other one isn't, both write and look nearly identically. I performed this to THE SAME PERSON THREE DAMN TIMES!! He has no clue. it is literally right under their noses. What I do is I write their name on the napkin I use or whatever (any impromptu paper or napkin) and write their name on it or something, seconds before vanishing the pen.

This is awsome. You will love it and will want to perform it right away. This is made for true working magicians, almost instant reset, surrounded, you can call it impromptu. Do not think on wether or not to buy it, just buy it. Buy it now, if not now then as soon as you can. Get this. I can't recommend this more.

This is the perfect thing to do when someone asks to see a trick. Have it in your pocket and get ready for some serious reactions and fun :-)

There's so much you can do with this Vanishing Pen. The coolest thing is making it vanish in a tiny plastic bag. That way you can see it until the last second...and you don't get ink on your hands.

But there are also cool ways to make it visually appear, which you can figure out by playing around with it.

I had the old model vanishing pen for a while now...and that one looses its shape a bit...the new model by SansMinds holds up great, though. Big fan of it.

This trick is not bad. After finding out the secret I was little skeptical if I could actually pull this magic affect off. But when I was performing I decided to try it out and I was surprised that it got a wow reaction leaving the spectator with the whole disappearing image stuck in their head probably for a long time. The teaching on the dvd could have had better handling with that back pocket part. Overall, it might just be a little to easy. 3 and a half stars for this one.

This trick would go into my top 5 purchases of the year from Penguin. Your audience won't know what's coming. The best time to vanish the pen is when the spectator's guard is down and bam, you vanish the pen to any location you desire. Just imagine it from a layman's perspective, their reactions are priceless. Dvd is short and to the point. You can literally perform as soon as you open the package.

Get it now. You can't go wrong with this trick and it's perfect for restaurant work.

good idea...rubbish quality item...might fool kids up to about eleven...video very misleading.

I like this a lot BUT I think it needs a little more to live up to the price tag.

The props are fantastic and VERY well made which is great but the teaching along with this is lacking big time. I had to watch one part a few times to really get what was going on.

Also, I really agree with what David Penn said on WPR. It's a good ADDITION to an already existing routine. It may not be good enough as a "one trick" item. So, if this is something you are looking into check out some other routines as well. While he did recapped (abbreviated) from Gregory Wilson I really think Greg's other effect Pointless would tie in nicely (no reason you can't break a little arts and crafts to get them the same colors).

It's a good buy if you like the trailer. You may be disappointed with the instructions BUT the prop itself is fantastic.

This is my first review ever and if you dream about buying something that you can do with almost NO practice ,this is it .Like all ud we all by tricks that either we are dissapointed at when recieve or dont have the patience to learn ,well this one i was performing BEFORE i even watched the dvd ,and so will you . If you are A D D like me and hate set up or carrying ,or practicing ,this is it .This is now my FIRST bar trick (used to be Pen thru dollar or ignition )and no one will ever figure it out JUST click on it Buy it and LOVE IT

the way the people look you when yo clap your hands and the pen is literally vanished....BUUUAAA , no words to describe it

The only reason i do not like this effect is because the napkin is not examinable, that is the only issue
