I hate buying the same trick twice under a different name,
This is the same as Bob King's 'New
Wave Prediction.

This is an exact copy of Bob Kings New Wave Prediction. Exact in gimmicks used, method, and
performance. This is a despicable thing that World Magic Shop and Craig Petty did by releasing
this. Do not buy this. Try to find new wave prediction by Bob King if you can and give the
original creator his dues and your money cause he is the one that deserves it not Craig Petty.

I've been around the magic scene for a long, long time. The effect Craig calls "Red", is actually
Bob King's "New Wave Prediction", which I purchased from Hank Lee a good twenty years ago.
I'm sorry, but I can't see paying twice the price for an old effect that I already own and know
how to perform. Is anyone here familiar with the word dontopedology? I am. It's defined as the
propensity for inserting one's foot in one's own mouth.
And to say this is unethical is an
understatement.

Pretty disappointed at Craig Petty for not coming with original and also not giving credit for
original creator ...

Ok. I now know it is the same as Bob King's New Wave Prediction. Had I known what went down I never
would have bought it.
But, all that aside, this is one of the best Brainwave tricks I have
ever seen! (The best being an idea by Dani Daortiz where no sleight of hand is involved nor
gimmicked deck and you do not touch the deck prior to the trick. Another involves showing the card
vanished then reappears face up. And my personal favorite is Improved Ultimate Brainwave by Bob
Solari.) NONE of the others make it so that you nor anyone other than the one spectator know the
thought of card. In all other versions I have seen, they have to select or at least tell you the
card. Yes, in RED, there is a procedure where they have to discard the number of cards that
corresponds to the value of there card but it seriously is no big deal when presented. Think about
it, they are the only ones who know the card, you have got to have a backup somehow to be sure
everyone else is on the same page at the end.
I would take away some stars because of the
drama. But I am rating a trick, not judging a magician or criticizing for what happened. I also want
to review this as Bob King's trick as well so I am reviewing the effect itself, which is about as
good as you can get. Sure it is a gimmicked deck. But it is handled and presented in a way that no
one will ever suspect the deck is gimmicked. And it is a fantastic way to reveal a card that
seriously was ONLY thought of by the spectator.
