If you use playing cards, then Pocket Bizarre is the trick to perform! It follows Vernon's rule that
a trick should be able to be described in one sentence:
"Their chosen card ( which can be
signed ) magically appears sticking out of your back pocket".
Pocket Bizarre looks like a
TV magic trick, but without the cameras and stooges!
Anyone can do it. There is no timer:
you choose when the card will appear.
It resets instantly. Nothing to sew or clothing to alter.
Just toss the gimmick into your back pocket and you;re ready to perform ( ANY deck can be used ).
And it's not limited to playing cards!. Paper money, business cards, credit cards, etc. can
be magically produced from your back pocket.
If you want to fry their brains and perform a
trick that they will remember you for, then Pocket Bizarre is what you are looking for!
A+++ on this release!

I can see Pocket Bizarre as a great effect for street performers. I might even find a way to build
it into one of my shows.
For starters, it works just like you see in the clips. They
don't pull any punches or leave out any moves that make you feel 'cheated' once you know how the
effect is done. It plays in reality just like it does on the clips.
In playing with it, I
found that a time delay does wonders. In the clips things happen rather rapidly and leaves the
sense that one action causes another. By building in a bit more time between critical moves and the
reveal, the secret, in my humble opinion, is even more disguised and this makes it all even more
magical.
Why four rather than five stars? Again, the method and the gimmick provided and
DVD are five stars. The effect is well set up and described on the DVD and everything is provided
in order to construct the gimmick. For me, it was a bit difficult to assemble the unit. Being
older than dirt makes working with small objects somewhat difficult. It took me a long time to get
a working model. Once constructed, it seems to be durable and should last for a long time. In
performance, set up is fairly quick although you can't set up in front of an audience.
This
is one that I am sure I will find a use for either in my show, or as an MC or in other ways. If I
were a street performer or a table hopper, this would definitely be in my aresenal of effects.

When I opened up the package i was like "huh? what the..." and didn't had a clue at all how this
would work. The Gimmicks supplied are really well made and will last a lifetime. Everything works
exactly as advertised. It's darn clever and works beautifully. A winner through and through!
I really can't see anyone being disappointed with this one.
Highly recommended :)

Knacky difficult setup occupies more pocket space than i prefer. Slightly over priced. But I can see
this being an effect to center routine round with time and dedication performing this effect takes a
lot of focus and while i can see this effectuvley commercial for some it s jusy not too practical
for my street style.

I received pocket bizarre about a week ago. Very clever gimmick. I saw the demo and was wowed. I got
it and its a little different then what i thought but it is still great. It takes a little while to
adjust and get used to. But after it is fun to perform. You might need to adjust the gimmick
according to the pants you are wearing, like going from jeans to dress pant but it is very easy to
adjust. It can be a great ending for any signed card routine. The great thing is you can make your
own variations, for example you don't need to palm the card but you can and still achieve the
effect. Recommended

The gimmick is made well; time, thought, and construction was well invested. As for the effect; it
was I thought it could be. It is a card to an impossible location; there are other impossible
locations that are stronger and easier to set up (i.e. card to wallet, Kennedy Box, Cell). Honestly,
I think Paul Harris has become the American version of Tenyo; cool tricks, but most we would not
carry on ourselves everyday or perform at paid gigs.

I already wrote a review, but I gave it three stars I should have said four stars. I forgot to tell
you, you can also make a sharpie rise and business cards rise also I came up with a handling for it
just shortly after the review. If you have imagination you can take this effect and change it a
little and make it your own. Anyways, hoped my reviews helped.
Here's my thoughts on this effect. You can do exactly what you see in the trailer, but is it really
necessary? You're drawing heat on yourself buy showing the pocket empty then you put the marker away
and stall for a little time then show your pocket and there's the card. Like the saying goes don't
run if you're not being chased. You can have a card already in the back of pocket and you can pull
it out and have it be their signed card if you do that, then you can't show the pocket before hand
that's one draw back, but if you do it that way then you won't have to have any gimmicks at all. So
that's a positive thing about it and, the gimmicks take up space in your pockets and sooner or later
one thing may break I can't say much else because of the secret. When it breaks you'll have to
replace it so you're spending more money. And like I said is it necessary to show your pocket before
hand when you don't have to? Would a laymen know the difference? As a magician I found this effect
very interesting before and after I bought it, but you don't really need it if you're doing magic to
laymen. So you have two ways of pulling off this effect the way I mentioned and doing it Peter's
way. I give it three stars because a lot of thought went into it and he gives you a lot on the dvd
and I love the card vanishes he performs. And like I said the trick looks exactly like the trailer.
The choice is yours.
A $40 magic trick needs to have more! I was not impressed with the gimmick or the set up. It doesn't
work for every person either, though they do give a nonpractical alternative for people like me. I
was being vague because I'm not positive what all I can say with out giving anything away. This
trick was a waste of my money. I won't ever use it and there is not use for me. The gimmick does not
fit my style. I could see this trick being alright if you could use it. It's not as "easy" as the
video makes it look... But what trick is!
