I don't usually write reviews, but I felt like I needed to give this one. I think someone needs to
review this as an actual product and not keep mentioning how great Bob Cassidy is. Yes I appreciate
his contributions to the art, but I'm still going to give an honest review.
1. Structure -
there is none. Bob seems incapable of staying on track of what he's saying and often go's off on
little tangents. The download it's self doesn't seem to have much structure to it either. Any that
it does have is down to the editing.
2. Half the download he's not even talking about
billets. Now some people may call this value for money, but I felt like it was a desperate attempt
to pad it out with content. He add's in a card trick with a gimmicked deck which, no, isn't
available from most magic stores. Talks about peek wallets, bank night and nail writing. The nail
writer again, is one that he has hand made.
3. The parts where he actually talks about
billets is rushed. Casually explained and he doesn't give you many ways to apply them in to routines
or how to peek the information.
All in all really disappointed. This is the first negative
review i've written about any body, anywhere. Honestly it actually makes me quite sad that it's
about Bob Cassidy. But other consumers should know what they are about to buy.
I've given it 2
stars as it could be a fairly good introduction to anyone interested in billet work.

This download was one of my first. Regarding mentalism billet techniques, you can learn a lot from
Bob Cassidy. His Name and Place routine is simply cleaver and entertaining. When it comes to billet
Peeks and CTs though this isn't the best teaching download for this. I wouldn't hesitate to
recommend his penguin live lecture but then I would look somewhere else for peeks and CTs. If you
want to look at Sw*****s then this is a reasonable download but I would be more inclined to invest
in his book the Artful Mentalism vol 2.

The bonus trick alone was worth the price of the download! But, there is so much more that Bob
teaches.
It would be very expensive to take a private lesson from Bob personally. Yet for
only $19.95 you get a 1 hr. lesson covering the core techniques of gaining secret information, that
has been the mainstay of Professional Mentalists, past and present.
In the age of super
technology, billet work still proves to be the best method for the modern performer!
Bob
teaches billet work from C.L. Boarde, Ted Annemann, Al Baker and Bob himself.
Also covered
is the deadly center tear. Bob teaches the Al Koran one handed tear, which leaves the billet looking
as if no tearing was done, yet you have the secret information at your disposal!
Bob covers
getting peeks, special wallets, pocket writing ( and tips the work on the best tool for pocket
writing ).
Bob ends with an incredible piece of mentalism with playing cards that involves
the entire audience. The climax looks like a miracle took place!

nearly an hour's worth of billet and envelope work, with work on wallets and slates too, plus a full
stage routine using cards...what more can you ask for, for the money?
an hour with the
master mindreader is priceless...
clearly explained, hints, tips and nuances throughout -
and certainly for the bold and for those with charisma and a brain...
simple yet hardcore
methods taught by a living legend...well played penguin, and thank you bob...

I don't know whether you understand what an excellent product billet Killers is. It opens the door
to being able to perform some of the most astounding effects. Bob Cassidy demonstrates some of the
most deceptive billet switches and billet peeks He explores center tears as well. There are bonus
effects too. Copy his moves on the video, and then practice so that you will not have to look at
your hands to see what you are doing. If you have avoided billets, thinking they were too difficult,
be sure to take a look at "Billet Killers"

I very much enjoyed this video. I was familiar with most of the techniques used, but having that
little bit of personal/professional touch helped me to see the value in some of these skipped over
methods. It was very informative. The one effect towards the end is worth the price of the
download alone. Also, its basically spending an hour with Bob and the download cost no more than
taking Bob to lunch for real and chatting for an hour.

Bab Cassidy needs no introduction. As the Master Mindreader he has decades of experience with
billets and all facets of mentalism. Watching his hands perform the various switches was amazing.
I am not new to tears or switches, but the ones that were shown had slipped by me and as soon as I
saw them demonstrated I knew that I would be using them. Mr. Cassidy also teaches a great instant
access tear that may appeal to many. I had seen the one handed tear before in a book but had never
tried it. Seeing it demonstrated correctly is important and serves almost as a historic record.
His work on the wallets and secret writing was great to watch, even if I don't
particularly use them myself. The bonus card effect was great as well. All in all, for the price
this is a steal. I almost never by "tricks" I buy tools and information, and the information given
here, to the right person, is priceless. You can build a career, and a personal legend on billets
alone. Just go for it.

I read some of the reviews. Does Bob stray from billets only - Yes. Is it a worthwhile lecture -
YES!
This is information from the man who used billets extensively. He knows his stuff!
Also, to see billet switching done instead of just reading it in a book is great!
The
material that is not billet switching is also great.
As for the deck that he mentions that is no
longer manufactured ... I'm sure Alakazam uses a deck like this for one of their tricks. (Don't ask
me what trick, I'd have to go through all my trick card decks to find it!)
This lecture is
definitely worth the price of the download.
I thought this information would be a more comprehensive discussion of billets and their handling,
perhaps with a routine or tow explained. While there is a general overview of Bob’s thoughts about
billets but I thought there would be more.
