The rope that is supplied with this is a vivid, eye catching bright red. The craftsmanship is excellent.   And Daryl really teaches it well.

I was in a Chinese restaurant today, and performed the effect for my fellow diners. Then a couple of the waitresses were looking on from a distance, so I approached them on my way out and silently performed it for them, and they both gave me a big grin and a thumbs up. So I know I'm onto a winner, here.

In fact, it is so commercial and fun to watch, that I'm planning on carrying it in my pocket everywhere I go. So Daryl's Acrobatic Ropes has brightened up my life, and I know I'm going to use it daily to brighten the lives of others.

I had the awesome opportunity to meet Daryl as a starving actor/newbie magician back in the early 90's when I was working as a bartender in Hollywood. A mutual friend, Rich Marrotta, came in my bar as I was working on the Acrobatic Knot (known back then as the Jumping Knot of Pakistan) and I told him that I was having problems with one part of the effect. He was with Daryl who came in a few minutes later and personally took me through the entire effect. It has been a part of my shows since then. Awesome effect even if done with the shorter, less sleigth-of-hand version. Class act Daryl.....RIP....you will be missed!

Well made ropes with exceptioal instructional DVD by Daryl. My favorite rope routine for strolling, close-up, or platform magic. About 20 seconds reset time. This is my second set of ropes purchased from Darly. Does take an investment in practice time and rehersal to get the full routine up to performance standards. But the return is priceless if you are serious about doing a professional rope routine thst will play well for any audience, just about anywhere, and packs flat (in your jacket or pants pocket).

This is a great effect.

This trick is not new to me. It is a replacement of a well worn out set. Actually a 2nd or 3rd. I've been performing this trick for many years. I love it and so do the spectators, and, it's fun to perform. Daryl's instructional video is right on the money and, as always, he gives you all of the information you need to get going.

Oddly enough, I watched Daryl perform this (again) at The Magic Castle just a few days before his very last performance. He was and will remain one of the finest creators. teachers, and performers in magic.

I am generally not a fan of rope tricks. But this is an exception. The effect is extremely visual; audiences love it.

I saw Daryl perform this effect (then known as the Jumping Knot of Pakistan, which apparently is no longer PC) many years ago and decided to add it to my repertoire. But that was before the days of DVDs and I found it almost impossible to follow the written descriptions and drawings of the knots and moves.

A few months ago I was scratching my head trying to come up with some effects that I could present in a parlor setting. It occurred to me that Daryl may have released a DVD of this effect. He has. The DVD makes all the difference in the world. Daryl teaches the effect very clearly and patiently. Plus the quality of the ropes that come with it are much improved.

I just received it and have to say the ropes are very well made and bright. The video is excellent with Daryl teaching every aspect of the effect clearly. The advanced routine is not the easiest in the world but, if given the time and practice this needs, you will have a Magic rope routine that can be done just about anywhere and is very visual. For a working Magician like myself, this is a valuable addition to my repertoire!. Highly recommended! Suitable for children but strong enough for adults too!

This trick is just a blast to perform. The handling is easy, the visual is stunning and the quality prop packs very small.

Although I perform other rope tricks, I enjoy performing Daryl's Amazing Acrobatic Knot. In fact, I prefer Amazing Acrobatic Knot than Professor's Nightmare.

Amazing Acrobatic Knot is good for strolling, close-up and even parlour magic. No angle problem. No difficult sleight of hand.

What you will get from this product is a DVD that teaches both basic and advance routines, 2 ropes and an instruction guide. Beginners can start well with the basic routine because it is very easy to learn. Daryl's teaching is clear and concise. It is easy to follow him. The ropes are thick and knitted, good ropes.

The sleights of hands are not difficult to learn even for the advance routine because Daryl is a good teacher.

Amazing Acrobatic Knot is a killer. I will recommend it to those who want to learn rope routines.
