Even though the mechanics of the trick is not new to those involved in card magic, the idea of the
trick is clever; I mean to use Houdini in a routine is always great.
To add a bit of
history of magic with any routine adds a sense of interest and intrigue to the spectators. I'm sure
many will use this for Halloween, and any atmosphere requiring a bit of mystery in it...
In
a nutshell: brilliant concept, and I recommend it...highly...

I like this, but I think the problem with Rick's presentation is it starts with only two cards and
ends with three. I just think that plot needs to be thought out a bit more. I realize that this is
not one of the provided cards, but I think it would be stronger if the performer were to produce a
Houdini card from an impossible location, such as under the seat of the participant, in someone's
purse, etc.

There are very few tricks that I can say that I absolutely love. I saw the advertisement videos and
thought "hey that seems to be a pretty cool little trick." When I started to preform it I fell in
love with it. Not only is it really fun to preform, the reactions blew me away! People really like
this trick. Plus another great feature with this trick is that it plays just as BIG for little kids
as it does for adults and that's always great to have in ones repertoire. In fact I just ordered a
second set so I'll have a back-up set, because this trick is going to be getting a lot of use from
me.

This trick is hard hitting for an audience. They don't get emotionally involved with packet tricks,
but they do with this one.
Plus, it looks so fair. No strange moves, or long wounded
patter. Using the padlock, as was done in the demo, is a nice touch, but it really hits hard if they
hold the Houdini card face down in their hand.
Don't pass this one by. It's a winner!

Paul Richards has better handling but for someone new, You will be rewinding a lot it is already
hard to learn from him, The speed he teaches at, He doesn't break down the trick good enough, He
should be more specific and slower.
The cards are well made and the trick and handling is quite fun. It would definitely be a fun
routine to keep in the wallet.
