When I opened up the package I started cracking up because I knew instantly how it was accomplished.
It took me all of about 1 minute to become good at this trick.
I carry this with
me all the time.
What I typically do: go into any store. While standing at the counter note
to the clerk that somebody stuck there chewed gum underneath the counter. Pretend to grab gum but
show them sticky situation. Then preform.
The looks on peoples faces that believe you
actually grabbed somebody else's ABC gum is priceless in itself much less the INCREDIBLE magic that
proceeds.
Tips:
A). Be careful of sticky situation because it can break.
Thankfully its not expensive to replace.
B). Every so often you will have to fix the
wrapper.
C). When showing the ABC gum keep you hand moving ever so slightly so they cant
get a real good look at it.
D). When finished wrapping it, transfer it hand to hand showing
both your hands fairly and OPENLY completely clean. This subtly really adds to the trick as people
cant wrap there minds around how that possible could have happened.

It's 2 tricks in 1 gimmick. Lasts a really long time. And it's a perfect opener....perfect for
restaurants in particular or walk around....anywhere that you INSTANTLY need to establish that
you'll be creating magic. 2 visual moments in 5 seconds....what other trick has that?
Don't gloss over this trick just because you can figure it out. I mean, in the video, I do it
like 6 times so of course you'll figure it out. But when you see it for the first time...it's truly
amazing.

This is a very good gimmick, and it's so easy to use, plus it gets superb reactions! However, my
only problem is that the creator only suited the gimmick for one specific flavor of gum, which I
guess can be fixed with spray paint, but if there could be options for which flavor/color you
wanted, e.g. extra, big red, spearmint, juicyfruit, doublemint for their different flavored colors,
then it would be perfect! Other than that, I'm very happy with my purchase! You can make your own
gimmick (if you've already figured out the secret), but I've found that a homemade one isn't as
lasting as the original itself. If you're thinking about getting this effect, please don't hesitate.
The pros certainly outweigh the cons in my opinion.

I have bought many items and magic tricks on Penguin Magic over the past eight years or so. This is
the first time I did not feel like I got my money's worth. First the quality is not great. You
need to be five feet away or more to see the item is not real. Second it comes incomplete, you are
required to attach the wrapper yourself. I do not have a problem with this but for the price I
would think that would be done by the maker. When an item cost fifteen cents to make and sells for
fifteen dollars, you would expect something. I would be happy if this product sold for about three
to five dollars.

I'm a BIG FAN of this effect by Andy Leviss, and always have it on me, ready to rock! It is straight
forward, off the cuff, and very visual. It looks just as described: you remove chewed gum from your
mouth and restore it to it's previously unconsumed state, and then, magically re-wrap it. The
gimmick is extremely well made and fully customizable to any brand of stick chewing gum you prefer
(new or old style wrappers, if you remember the classic Doublemint look). Sticky Situation is a
perfect closeup opener, and Rick Lax adds some awesome bonus ideas for handling and presentation,
with detailed teaching, in this refresher! Yes... gum... mint... refreshing.... the punsibilities
are endless. Stick with it, gang!

I purchased this from Elmwood many years ago and used it all the time, eventually I lost it and this
is my second time buying it. Thank you Penguin for the coolbox price.
As for the effect, I
used to use it all the time as my opener in casual, and street performances. I love it, it takes
practice as always. It's fairly simple to learn, it's visually startling, unexpected to your
spectator. This is a "Head On" type of effect,.. no one can be viewing from behind, but not all that
many effects are ok surrounded, so just watch your angles. All in all, I can't recommend this trick
enough, and at the price it is being offered today, maybe grab yourself 2 :)

When choosing tricks to perform in a sequence one of the challenges you encounter is how to flow
from one effect to the next to form a natural but engaging set.
If you're currently giving
structure to your performances you might consider Sticky Situation. This trick is startling because
it 'interrupts' spectator expectations and therefore seems fresh and impromptu.
Its unexpected,
accidental and with a bit of ingenuity you can give away a freshly wrapped stick of gum at the end.
...no one ever eats it... which shows how convincing the effect really is!

Flom has been performing this forever. He does it on talk shows. Usually starts with it because it's
quick and visual. And for some reason, I never gave it a try until recently. Better than I expected.
And you can customize it to whichever stick gum you want.
This is SO easy to carry with
you. I mean, if you want to carry a whole gum pack with you, you can do that. Or, if you're
super-conservitiv with pocket space, you can just do the one stick. All is self-contained.

Guys this trick is THE PERFECT OPENER!! Just go up to anyone and perform this trick prior to doing
your other effect. Not only is it bad to perform while chewing gum, but without saying a word, it
will establish you as a magician!
HIGHLY recommend this effect. and for the price, It's a
steal... Also check out Rick Lax's videos for more ideas on this.
5 stars, no doubt.
Love it!!!
