This is the kind of lecture that I've been waiting for. Lately I have been kind of straying away
from card tricks but this lecture got me back into them! The amount and quality of effects he
teaches is incredible considering the price. I well definitely use a good portion of this in the
real world. This was such a refreshing lecture and I look forward to performing more of Jason's
magic

Jason Dean is a fun guy, talented drummer and accomplished card magician. You will not believe how
much knowledge he has about cards for such a young guy.
His breadth of knowledge about
cards is surpassed only by his talent with the pasteboards in his hands.
For years, I
focused solely on performing parlor and stage magic. While I cut my teeth on sleight of hand many
years ago, I got away from it. With a walk-around gig coming up in about four months, I decided to
revisit Jason Dean's lecture because I remember how impressed I was with him.
Like Howard
Hamburg's incredible lecture, Jason will make you fall in love with cards, or if you are like me,
fall in love with them again.
I will be performing his Solo Aces and Gone Fishing effects
in my walk-around gig. How would you like to do a one-handed four ace production with minimal
sleights? Solo Aces is that effect.
Gone Fishing is hard to describe, but it is a visual
masterpiece. After a little bit of fun with a spectator and his selected card, you push it into the
middle of the deck, and it comes to the top. You clearly show it came to the top of the deck. Then
you talk about how you will make it appear on the bottom. You drop the face-up selected card onto
the face-down deck and in an instant you show the deck has reversed itself. The selected card is
indeed on the bottom.
There are so many wonderful effects in this lecture, including a
version of Triumph that appears to workable without a lot of knuckle-busting.
If you want
to expand your card repertoire, then do yourself a favor and snag this lecture. You will be so happy
you did.

Full of practical usable stuff, I love card magic and this lecture is packed with tons of great
material. Overall Jason teaches about 17 effects with cards. I am very happy with my purchase and
will surely be adding several of these to my repertoire.
All of the effects are very good,
fun to perform and not too hard to learn. Everything is pretty straightforward, direct and will
definitely get you great reactions. 95% of the effects are gaff free and can be performed with a
borrowed shuffled deck. A few have very minor set-ups that can easily be done in front of spectators
within seconds.
Do not hesitate to buy this, Jason Dean has devised some top notch card
magic that everyone will love. Looking forward to seeing more of his material, I am a big fan and
you will be too!!

This is a fantastic lecture of card magic for anyone who wants magic to go straight into their set.
It is not too difficult and the double open prediction is worth the price of the lecture on
its own. Very strong and great magic.

I just have seen the half of this lecture. There are many Tricks that i will use. Tricks for walk
around and on the table. I hope there will be more in the next half. Like like like. One of the best
for Card guys. A must have! Thanks Jason for sharing this ideas!

Jason knows card magic. Jason knows strong card magic. Jason knows practical, strong card magic.
There is a difference, but an important one. Jason works in some of the most challenging
environments (restaurants, and bars), and for some of the rowdiest spectators you can imagine (rock
stars).
Jason knows how to construct a routine that will leave your spectators floored,
with some of the simplest methods, and he passes this information onto you in the lecture.
I know this material works well in the real world, not just because I've done it, but I've seen
Jason work these routines on the same people you will.
Buy this, lecture. Learn the
material. You'll be glad you did.

I thought this lecture was fantastic. Surprising, since I'm not a card guy. But it's quite obvious
that Jason know his way around a deck of cards. What always strikes me about him though, and I have
seen him live, is his demeanor.
Watch this lecture and you will learn something about the
performance of magic, no matter what branch of magic you are into. A secret perhaps more profound
than the effects themselves: how to perform magic FOR people and not AT them.
Highly
recommended.

Loved his lecture and you can tell his love for magic, I have been lucky to see Jason perform live
and see the faces of the people he blows away with the magic he shares on this download. No pipe
dreams here, just hard hitting magic you will do! I hope everyone gets to meet Jason at some time in
they magic life because he is not only a great card guy but a super nice guy. If your into cards
this is a must have and i laughed so hard at the one on one stories with Dan at the end. Well worth
the money and you will not be sorry.

This is easily one of the best lecture's I've bought - and I've bought a lot. This is nearly all
card stuff - and almost all with some pretty basic setups, but it makes you look like you have way
more skill than you really do. He's also amazing at knowing his sources and where everything comes
from. Totally killed at the magic castle last weekend doing a couple of these routines and convinced
people I was much better than I really am. He has a really cool, relaxed style and is a master at
knowing how to not run when you aren't being chased. As simple as these solutions are, the knowledge
of how to easily ditch a gaff or fix a setup so that you can put a dirty deck into a spectator's
hand and not worry about them discovering something they shouldn't are worth the price of the
lecture alone. When is Penguin doing Jason Dean part 2? I'd buy it in a second.

I had previously heard very little of Mr. Dean's work, but upon making the on-a-whim decision to
purchase this lecture, I realized that my fears were unfounded. He explains everything very clearly,
and his talents with a deck of cards speak for themselves. While I may not necessarily use most of
the material performed and taught, I WILL be taking this knowledge and applying it to my own
performances.
Well done!
