Similar in concept to the Mastermind deck, but each has its pros and cons. With this deck, you can
repeat the effect or get multiple people involved; with the Mastermind deck, you can't do either,
but you don't need to do any fishing to know what card the spectator has chosen. Depending upon
your presentation preferences, either or both may be suitable for you.
Some quibbles: the
suggestion in the documentation that you can hand this deck to a spectator and let them thumb
through it to make a selection, is absurd. No amount of audience management can prevent the
inevitable disaster that will eventually ensue if you hand the deck to a spectator and let them look
through it.
As for the reference to the Derren Brown routine, don't feel as if you're
missing anything by not having it. No, you can NOT deduce the card without fishing; the routine
involves tossing out a couple of early guesses that are thinly-disguised as "subtleties", but
they're only guesses. More times than not, you will be wrong. And frankly, tossing out guesses
that the spectator may recognize as cards that were physically near his chosen card, opens up a huge
can of worms that you'd rather leave undisturbed.
Bottom line: if you like mentalism with
cards, and don't mind routines that require a little fishing, and you have the presentation skills
to pull it off, you can really mystify people with this deck.

i had this deck years ago and unfortunately it got tossed out(pun)...first because i was a cardman
move monkey & this was just too easy...second because the cards were to foreign to the average
participants eyes...but both of those things have changed...myself & the deck...now on red 808
Bicycle stock(which is what i normally carry)...this effect fries minds...its incredibly easy to do,
which allows you to focus on performance & make that connection with the audience...best done for 3
or 4 people simultaneously...can be done on a table or in the hands...and to a great extent,
"examinable"...this is well worth the funds...mix it up with the Gazzo tossed out deck from time to
time as well as "out of site, out of mind" by Vernon and your reputation will be SOLID...

if you're into mentalism or want just a great trick to be able to do for up to about 4, possibly
even 5 spectators( i dont recommend 5) and 'read' their minds one by one then go ahead and grab
this. very clever idea. very clean. the deck is gimmicked but you can actually show ALOT of all of
the cards. i really like that about this. i have the mastermind deck u have to be a bit careful with
that one but this is a jewel. so good.
i recommend this for anyone. i have many many tricks
that stay in my draw. b4 all of my shows i put all my 'stuff' in a ziplock baggy. i like to travel
light. some coins, universal impression, sharpie, reg. deck, loops, business cards, smoke, invisible
deck, powerball 60 ,and of course the mind power deck. no lie here man thats it.
every..single...show. period.

Granted, $40.00 is a lot to pay for a deck of cards, but this trick is solid and it's a sure
winner! I carry this deck with me everywhere and it's a hit every time!
I'm not a working
professional magician...just a guy who loves to perform magic for my family and friends. And this
trick has made its way right into my number one slot!!
It's as easy to perform as it
appears on the video. I love the fact that this deck is available in a Bicycle back deck. It makes
the trick that much more unbelievable. The concept is simple, yet brilliant!
I highly
recommend this deck for professionals and/or amateur magicians. It's that good, and as the saying
goes, "It's a reputation maker." I've performed it for so many friends, family members, and
coworkers, and the reactions are almost always the same..."How in the HELL did you do that??!!"
Add this to your cart and you won't be disappointed!!

This is the perfect mentalist effect. It is possible (and I do) to show every single card
different, (because they are) This trick is (in my opinion) easier with several people. Go ahead
and watch the video, you confirm the mental impressions that you read, and then reveal the cards one
by one. The reason that this trick is not for beginners is because the performer has to sell the
fact that he can read minds, but on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most difficult, i would say
this is about a 2. For me, it was worth the buy, because it does its job perfectly.

This is a terrific effect and highly recommended.
HOWEVER, if you are considering
purchasing this product, also check out Richard Osterlind's "Radar Deck" (also available from
Penguin). I personally prefer the radar deck, largely because you do not need a table, which makes
it perfect for a walk-around or street setting.
Having said that, they are both terrific
effects, so research both before making your decision! =)

this trick kicks ***! the only thing is is that it is a little expensive for the trick. but the
trick still rocks. you can spread the cards out, read their minds, then spread out the deck again
and show that there are NO duplicates.

A sensational effect! This is one of those effects which seem like real magic to the spectators and
the nice thing about this effect is that it's actually very easy to perform.
Certainly
worth buying and adding to your reportoire.

This is a great mind reading tool. Combine it with Derren Brown's effect (smoke), and you have a
cult in the making :)
The coolest part is if you leave the normal cards out, then do the
trick, read their mind, and then show that there card was never in the deck at all, they were just
seeing things!
