When you look for the three inch safety pins you must ask for blanket pins. You will NOT find them
under safety pins. Also look in fabric stores in California I found them at Joannes fabric store in
an area just down from the fafety pins.

I only gave it four stars...because I wanted MORE of this!
Smooth and rather easy to do. Mr.
Garret took what a lesser performer might do - and made it appear magical!
There is no real
'gimmick' per say...rather a clever method - that I apply with both items in play. Seems to confound
anyone who wants to examine the pins.
BTW - you can get the 3 inch pins fairly cheap from
Amazon.
One of those little pocket miracles that is easy to carry - something that can wait for
that "So, I hear your a magician, can you show me something" question. AND even better...NOT another
coin or card trick!
Well done, Dan!

Wow absolutely fantastic. This will please anyone who buys it. I'm picking up the safety pins
today. The teaching is top notch and the handling not hard at all. I am very pleased with this
purchase. Just so all of you know I'm a clutz not the greatest at slight of hand. If I feel good
about being able to perform an effect the majority of you will be able to perform it as well. This
is fantastic and well worth the price. Hope this helps.

Excellent routine, I have collected a number of routines and of them all I like the ones using
regular pins that the spectator can handle, mainly because I do close up and spectators sometimes
get grabby. Dan Garrett is just fun to watch, and the routine flows and makes sense. The
instructions are easy to follow and the moves aren't difficult they just require practice (Duh!) to
look smooth.

Dans Magic (as much as I have seen) - has allways been sinple concepts usually performed very well
.I like him. The Download is well priced, considering the digital deception he teaches is well
within the reach of even the newest Magi.
His 'demonstration' is just that, a basic
demonstration, - Much like Oz Pearlman's style of presenting a trick to learn. Plain & to the point.
The actual 'tricks' are worth the money.
I believe, had Dan presented this as he might have to
paying spectators, he would have given it more 'punch' & I would have given it a higher rating
All in all, its really a very good, small set of ideas.
Any Magician with a positive
attitude could turn this into a good bit of entertaining comedy, or serious mentalism. I removed a
star, as I think Dan could have done much more with this, I think he under-performed himself. I
recommend buying it though, as what he teaches is convincing, with room to grow into a nice,
audience interactive routine,& perhaps leading into other forms of penetrating illusions.

Great trick no doubt !
Dan's Phases are: 1)unlink 2)link 3)link --- 2 minutes
But
as one of the reviews wrote, he likes Dan to do more,
I felt the same --- it'd be a waste to
not use the power/
resource that we learned. So I will add 2 phases:
Phase 4: unlink
the pins after Phase 3 (easiest move of all
--- but looks amazing).
Phase 5: link the pins
by reversing Phase 1.
So the pins are linked, just like when it started --- it makes
logical sense, it is now a complete 3 minutes routine.

Dan Garrett teaches a fun routine that totally fools people. Will make an excellent opening effect.
Pins are easy to order online. The teaching is excellent and very detailed. Highly recommended.

And it'd be easy to integrate the effect in a larger routine.
