So I bought this right away cause I'm a huge fan of his work and let me say I was not disappointed
one bit....yet again matt mello has done it again he took an every day gimmick most magicians have
lying around and use it in a way that I never even dreamt of... It works 100% all the time which I
love. So I did the basic effect with my girlfriend and her father and They were totally fooled
here's the basic effect... You have someone close their eyes or blindfold them ou give a person in
the audience an object to hold in their fist everyone can see what it is besides the blindfolded
spectator you than reach up in the air and grab an invisible object and place it inside the
blindfolded spectators hand you ask if they can feel the object they reply yea you begin asking
questions as far as is it heavy or light soft or hard and the can answer everyone of the questions
you than take out the imaginary object an again show your hands empty
To the audience the
person is unblinded and you ask if they felt
You taking out the object thy say yes and you ask
them wht
Thy think it was and they say a cork and the audience member was holding a cork in
their closed fists... I got crazy reactions when I did it he also goes into two other effects using
the same principle a person feeling a mouse inside their shoe when thy try to put their shoe on or
you could save them think their is a rock in their shoe and they can feel it even though nothing is
there....a great purchase well worth a lot more....really well written and very easy to follow along
and also very easy to do

I've purchased many items on penguin magic and other sites, and this one is yet another one that is
ok. I wish the videos of these tricks would show the whole routine, then you can maybe not purchase
it after seeing the actual trick... kind of disappointed. But I guess it's ok. Nothing
spectacular... After I saw the whole routine, it was disappointing...

Matt does it again! I could not be happier with this (WILDLY UNDER-PRICED) trick, it's method is
easy and simple as it is brilliant, perhaps most importantly it opens doors to more and better
effects!

The idea is OK, but two things:
1- the gimmick does feel like it is supposed to.
2- The
gimmick is not a great fit for thick fingers.
Those who know what the gimmick is will
understand.

Just so so. Would not recommend it. One item is on hand and needed to be included. The other item
one has a hole in it and does not duplicate the unknown to most people without suggesting "wine" to
them.

The idea is unlike any I have seen before using a prop you probably already own. Matt's description
of the effect is excellent and it has worked for me most of the times I have tried it. The BIG
problem is that you give the spectator too much control over the gimmick. I have personally had the
trick ruined twice already because of a spectator that didn't follow my directions exactly...some
people get too curious and might open their hand. I think this effect is worth no more than $10, as
you will see when you buy it, that it is nothing more than a new way to use a gimmick that is $3-$5
at the most.

Guys Matt Mello is truly a genius!!! As Luke Jermay always teach he has just created a fanastic
hypnosis-trick using a very classic tool, only in a new and revolutionary way!!!!!
Thank you so
much Matt. This is a fantastic present to the mentalists comunuty!!!!
AMAZING!!!!!!

I laughed out loud when I realized how this effect worked. You take an ordinary magic utility that
most folks, including mentalists, have around the house and put it to use in a way completely
divorced from its intended use. It would be like taking a handgun and using it as a doorstop if you
get my drift. It's that ridiculous.
That said, this is a PK effect at its best. Do this
routine, and you will have people saying "WTF???" With proper audience management, they will have
absolutely no idea what happened or what they saw and will try to rationalize an explanation. If
you do this right, that explanation will be next to impossible.
I use a lot of Matt's stuff
because, while the routines seems standard, the methods are just so out there, like his Invisible
Ball, Total Control, and Energy Coins, and incredibly effective. Actually, you don't even need the
object provided for The Imaginary Object but can substitute your own. Penguin might want to offer
this as a $9.95 download for folks who don't need the utility device either. In any event, I love
this effect. Bravo!
I was lucky enough to get this trick in the Open Box for just over $5. Now after having learned the
secret, I can say I'd have been more than happy to pay full price!
The method behind the
trick is brilliant and makes very clever use of a classic gimmick. Overall, I'm very impressed by
the innovative and original thinking behind this trick.
The Imaginary Object is incredibly
easy to do, and if performed well, should hit your spectators pretty hard. In my humble opinion,
Matt Mello has really done something cool here.
I CAN understand why someone would find a problem with this (especially in close-up). But only if
they were not that experienced. Workers simply would not have any challenge with this and they would
never be pulled.
As soon as I learned the gimmick I smiled. a) because it's crap and b) because
it's perfect! :)
So I pay the money. make up the gimmick and perform it all within 15 mins and
it simply blew my dinner visitors away.
If you PERFORM this is for you. It's simply lovely.
Well done Matt and thankyou. It's a keeper!
