This was an excellent presentation and I learned how to do the passes much easier because of this
presentation. Thanks.
Alex Pandrea credits this DVD with helping him perfect the pass in all its variations. If you've
ever seen him do the pass, you've seen perfection. Alex's DVDs and downloads on the move are
excellent. But this, too, the granddaddy of 'em all, remains one of the clearest presentations of
the pass with plenty of variations. If you're a card magician, you really should own this DVD. It's
superb.
I would have liked alittle more direction with finger position. I moves along pretty fast without
that fact. I have learn though
If you're ready to push your card magic to the next level, this program is for you. This was filmed
a few years ago, but never mind that. Everything is shown in a clear, easy to follow manner. Mr.
Kaufman is not teaching just a singular technique, but there are numerous variations and passes
illustrated, that one incorporate in their card magic This is exactly what I was hoping for.
Oh! The tricks at the end of the program have clever plots, and are not mere filler.
This was my first introduction the pass. Amazing POV screens so you don't get confused. I can now
do the pass with comfort and ease. And best of all now my pass is invisible great thanks to the
tips of Richard Kaufman. Don't listen to those bad reviews this DVD will get you to were you need
to be to start this sweet card control. The riffle pass is my favorite! The quality is kind of old
but still great to today's standards so no worries. This dvd got me to were I need to be to perform
this sleight live.
This DVD is really great you know it teaches different types of passes and covers the basics and
advanced versions. The routines are great too. He is a great teacher. The reason I gave it a 4 stars
was because of the video quality but it was filmed in 1989 so what do you expect? Great DVD. Add to
cart. If you past this up it will be one of the biggest mistakes of your life!
This technique is so amazing. It's tough to get down, but once you do, people will have no idea
what's happening. You can use this technique to do so many tricks. Richard Kaufman explains and
teaches everything perfect. The angles are also good. This is by far the best video I've purchased
from this website.
As a beginner I found this DVD helpful. It would be nice to view the moves from one or two more
angles. But it does show above the hands (more or less audience angle) and an exposed angle. He also
gives plenty of historic context of each pass. He does say that these moves require a lot of
practice, and he's right. Any one who's ever played a musical instrument knows what it means to
practice fundamentals, think of these moves as advanced scales!
If you don't know the pass yet then pick this DVD up. You may have some trouble learning it at first
but don't give up. You will eventually get the hang of it. This is the real thing. Thanks Penguin
Magic!
This dvd is badass. If you haven't learned the pass yet, this dvd teaches it in the best way. Other
videos don't even teach it when they advertise that they do.
An entire dvd dedicated to one
move? That's how you know this move is too crazy for your spectators.
