This is quite simply one of the best tutorial DVDs I've ever seen. This is not a comprehensive
course in cups and balls, it is a more intermediate/advanced treatment that provides practical tips
to take your routine to the next level. There is so much fantastic information in here, and much of
it can be applied to magic in general (not just the cups and balls). Outstanding teaching, brilliant
ideas, and an enjoyable experience. Just get it.

I really like Bob White's coverage of the cups & balls. He not only teaches methods, but tells the
student what to avoid as well. His vanishes ad ball placements alone is worth the price of DVD. If
you do the cups & ball, this should definite do be one of your resources.

As someone who knew nothing about the cups and balls before, this was just what I was looking for.
I appreciate the comprehensive basic detail on every introductory aspect. This is enough to really
get going. I appreciate him showing what not to do and what doesn't work as well; saves a good deal
of experimenting.

If you like the Cups and Balls then this thorough teaching is for you...
Bob White, a master of
his trade teaches you all the subtleties that make the difference between a fairly good and an
outstanding routine. Valuable advice is found everywhere and all is based on decades of professional
work with the Cups and Balls ..

I'd give this a solid 4.5 stars - he is very clear with all sections except for a few phases of the
routine, particularly the loading sequence which required multiple rewatches to know when he is
doing a false placement vs real placement - sometimes he just pushes on- it shouldn't require
multiple rewatches to decipher what is happening! Despite the few areas of lacking clarity, the
handling recommendations and subtleties make this a valuable purchase. I now use a variation of this
routine in conjunction with michael ammars opening sequence for a well rounded cups and balls
routine.

Amazing resource. This is the best version of the Dai Vernon routine out there.
I’ve looked at a number of C&B videos. Wish I had this one long ago. Packed with practical tips,
ideas and theory. Bob speaks from having performed this for years and has obviously read much on
it. From beginner to advanced there is plenty here for everyone. This is a video I’ll go back to
many times with a notepad! I would consider this foundational then add in a couple of other books
and videos and you’ll have a lifetime of magic.
Simply the best cups and balls instructional videos that I have watched. Yes, the video is old and I
consider it to be a classic masterclass. It is a friendly, informal, video that is like you sitting
with Bob one on one to learn. Everything is covered, different size and type cups, the proper size
balls to use, he even talks about the color of the balls and how it affects performance. Loading the
cups is clearly shown from the front and side. The final load with large objects is clearly
demonstrated. Techniques are slowly and clearly taught. There's even a single cup Dai Vernon routine
shown at the end of the video. This gem is a bargain for the price.
Bob White is a no-nonsense magician who has thought about the classics of magic and come to his
conclusions on the subject of each of several classics. The more of Mr. White's material I run
across, the more I appreciate him. He knows how to perform and teach the classics. I can't
recommend his stuff enough, and I hate that we lost him. With Mr. White, you can see why the
classics are the classics. His work makes me want to be a better magician. It therefore makes me a
better magician.
