How much did I like this trick? I liked it so much that I purchased the instant download AFTER I
learned it. (I originally learned it from an "unauthorized" source, felt guilty about it because
there was indeed something proprietary there, not just a rehash of the public domain, and I wouldn't
feel any better about stealing the information from Oz than I would about stealing the cards from
Costco.)
There isn't much to say that hasn't been said before, although I'd be hesitant to
lump this in with other "packet tricks." Yes, it would technically be classified as such because it
uses only four cards. But unlike just about every other trick in the "packet category," there are no
gaffed or specially-printed cards.
These are regular cards from a regular deck and, with
any number of minor moves, it can be cleaned up quickly and easily enough to hand the deck off to a
spectator, or use it for another effect.
The only word of caution I'll leave is the obvious
"Practice, Practice, Practice." While the difficulty rating is not high, this trick has more detail
than most, and plenty of opportunities to flash if you try to perform it while you're still trying
to remember how it goes.
I liked the idea of a previous poster who practiced it while
watching television. For this to have maximum impact, the moves really have to be second nature,
while your main focus is on your audience.
I'd apply the same test to this trick that I do
to most---If your eyes spend more time on your hands than on your audience, then you haven't
practiced enough.

Yes, I like the effect, very much, but......!
As a new student of magic, I wish the reviews
would be more detailed, as to the level of proficiency required. No one stated you had to know
about swing cuts, "encanyo"? cuts, biddle counts, buckling a card and double undercutting, etc., to
do this trick. Except for buckling the card, which is pretty obvious, I don't have a clue what the
others are or how to do them, at this juncture. I would not have wasted my money on this effect
(and some others I have purchased) had I known about these required sleights beforehand. This is
definitely not an effect for a neophyte as myself. I would like to see all the reviews include
other's opinions as to experience level recommended, since Penguin doesn't provide this information.

Revolver was my first ID from Penguin, and it's still my favourite. Easy, almost self-working magic.
I never open with anything else.
Oh, and Oz is the best.

I'm a long time Penguin member who has purchased Five Forces, Quick Trick, Shotgun Aces, Synergy,
The Matrix, and Triumph - this is my FIRST review. I just purchased this trick about an hour ago and
within ten minutes I was performing it well! My girlfriend, parents and friends are utterly
astonished at the ENTIRE trick, let alone the amazing finale.
I've been (attempting to)
doing card magic for a couple years, but have extreme trouble with most sleights since I'm a failure
with all of them, but this trick is BY FAR the easiest, most effective, utterly self working non
gimmick trick I've ever attempted. I must say, other than Quick trick and Shotgun aces, this is the
one non gimmick trick I can perform well. It took me about 1/100th of the time to master as quick
trick.
The effect is amazing, the moves are simple, the price is cheap. You'd be a fool
not to add this to your cart now.
Dang, I sound like an advertiser for Penguin but
seriously...this trick is more than worth it.

So no one has reviewed this trick in nearly a decade…so what?! It’s still stunning. I purchased the
download months ago but only just viewed it, and thought I’ve gotta practice to smooth out the
details, I learned the trick well enough to remember all the transitions in about three tutorial
viewings—that’s under twenty minutes (and I am NOT a quick study).
Forget about the old
standby color changes—this one makes ‘em look both obvious and dull. And pay attention to Oz’s
recommendations for subtleties. Trust me, you may never “casually” flash the deck back during a
hindu shuffle again.
Dear Penguin Magic ;
I just up graded my review of this trick to 5 stars. Don't let the
cheap price fool you. I paid much higher prices for card tricks but this one tops many of them. It
is a shame that card tricks like this are so rare. If they had other card tricks like this I'd be
buying them regularly. They just come too far apart.
Dear Penguin Magic;
I have been in magic for some sixty years and it is not often that
tricks like this come along. I am mostly into card tricks and don't perform professionally. I mostly
do it as a hobby and for my friends. Over the years I have purchased hundreds of card tricks and
over 75% of them lie in a drawer and are forgotten. I always thought the higher price of a trick
would guarantee a fantastic trick. This is often times not the case. Here is a trick that is cheap
but yet puts higher priced card tricks to a shame. How much I wish you would come out with more
tricks of this caliper. They are too far in between. If you do have anymore card tricks like this
please let me know.
This trick is absolutely phenomenal. The start of the trick usually grabs the audience's attention
and by the end of the trick they are blown away. You will definitely have their attention for the
rest of your routine. There are other great colour changing deck tricks out there but this one is
certainly at the top. Keep in mind that you don't really need to "sell" the colour. Just pull the
cards out and that's good enough. If you don't already know this, I highly recommend that you get
this.
This is a must have for any great card magician! The ending totally blows away just about everyone!
My friends thought I was a witch when I showed it to them, and that was even after showing them
several other tricks! This one is crazy. Add it to your cart NOW
It's Oz! What more can I say? Revolver is such a great trick, just wait till you get to know the
secret behind that color change! Impressive and easy-to-do. Perfect for beginners as well as
advanced magicians.
