"Michael's magic is simply exquisite." -Harry Lorayne

"Your handling of the Brainwave effect is just about perfect, sleight of hand techniques have reached such a point that you will never need to perform the Brainwave effect with a gimmick deck ever again." -Darwin Ortiz

"Michael is a soft-spoken individual but his performances amplify this facet of his personality to the extent that one is irresistibly led to conclude that here is a magical talent of noteworthy merit. Underlying this congenial demeanor is a savoir-faire that bespeaks sophistication beyond his years." -James Patton

"Michael Vincent has a performing style that is flawless. In the 30 years I've been performing Sleight of Hand, it is rare that I've seen someone who is able to combine flawless execution, steely assurance and a delightful presentational ability in the unique way that he has. Like Leipzig, he is deadly sure of his success. Like Vernon, he thinks constantly about magic and like Mike Skinner, everyone who watches him ends up liking him." -Steven Youell

"It is always a joy to watch you fluidly play with the pasteboards." -Jon Racherbaumer

If you work with cards and you don't buy this lecture... You are nuts,

Michael is one of the best card handler's today and makes everything look magical. He also teaches a MUCH easier version (for those of you who remember Carney's) of the slot machine effect which is amazing.

I loved every second of the lecture and will watch this a lot more. Most of Michael's work can be done with a borrowed deck and so well constructed you are EXTREMELY far ahead.

I love Kismet and is one of the best card effects you can do. If you like the lecture I really suggest you go out and pick up Michael's DVD's and anything else he does.

And next week is Roberto Giobbi! It's a good month to be a card guy :-)

I love watching Michael Vincent perform and teach. It takes a master to teach "The Quest for Mastery" and Michael certainly is a master.

This is a great lecture!

This is a great lecture, whether you are a beginner or an advanced card magician.
Michael Vincent is passionate about good sleight of hand – and about teaching it. This passion shows throughout the lecture.
While many of the routines have been featured on the DVD sets published by Alakazam, the instructions and performances here benefit from great camera work and lighting and comparatively more close-up shots.
Those who own the DVDs will benefit from added new insights, handling points and routines not taught before. ‘Be Honest – What Is It?’ (‘Two Card Monte’), for example, is taught here in exceptional detail and the many magicians performing this in a hurried manner would do good to buy this lecture and heed Michael Vincent’s advice on the use of gaze and body movement. Victor Farelli’s ‘Up His Sleeve’ (with an additional second phase inspired by Darwin Ortiz) was performed, but not taught, on one of the DVDs, but is fully taught here. It is a fabulous routine that would be very suitable for walk around magic. ‘Pasteboard Larceny’ is an outstanding poker routine starting with a genuinely shuffled deck and appears here for the first time.
To those who are new to the magic of Michael Vincent, this lecture is a fantastic introduction and a very handy compendium of some of his strongest pieces, ranging in difficulty from easy (‘Kismet’) to advanced (‘4Play with Foursome’, one of the most powerful card routines you can do).
Finally, anyone will benefit from Michael’s views on how to master sleight of hand, which close the lecture.
Highly recommended.

Michael is a master of his arts.
His instructions are clear and wonderfully performed.

If you are not a card magician, do NOT let this
performance slip away.
Watching his professionalism and how he handles cards will
will show you how "The Masters" perform and this will help with your Magical Art.

This is simply not a download to let slip by.

Penguin's #1 lecture Report this review

Michael Vincent is a 21st Century Magician that was trained in the classics. The result is devastating routines with the techniques of Dai Vernon, Slydini, Ed Marlo, Harry Lorayne and a host of other world class magicians.

I was fooled and entertained right from the opening coin trick and throughout the 4+ hr. long lecture!

I could write multiple pages of praise, but I'll keep it short and just tell you to get this lecture if you want to be a MUCH better magician.

A Master Talking About Mastery Report this review
Verified buyer Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on September 22nd, 2019
Too many words get in the way so in short, Mr. Vincent is a master. A Master knows his/her instrument and shares the knowledge of that instrument. Mr. Vincent shyly, is a master of coins. He is truly a master of cards and performance. What he shares can be technically difficult but if one is an honest student the work of Mr. Vincent is required study. His lecture is actually a shortcut to the best of slight of hand; difficult but necessary for excellent work. Chopin is difficult too.
