What I said when I saw the trick performed: "Wow that looks fantastic"
What I said after
learning it: "There's no way this will actually fool people"
What I said after performing:
"I can't believe I just fooled people"
I haven't been doing magic for very long, and I
don't do much money magic, but this one is for sure a keeper. It's so simple, but gets great
reactions and just plain looks awesome. I highly recommend it.
The DVD also gives you some
great performance tips and alternate handling options that are useful and interesting.

The gimmick has no flaps and doesn't require to be attached to any bill. It is easy to carry
arround and easy to being in and out of play.
The gimmick's color discrepancy with real
bills is only noticeable if you put it side-by-side with a real bill. This routine doesn't do that
so you're safe.
Erik's and Gregory each teach multiple handlings, but the core effect is a
transposition. I made my own modification for the gimmick to allow four different bills, but it
isn't necessary.

I only gave this 4 stars because while it is a strong effect, the gimmick provided is built for
American currency, and for a Canadian Illusionist, it’s kind of a put down, but they do provide
prices to make your own gimmick out of your countries currency wherever your from so don’t let that
stop you, your just going to have to cut a few of your paper money, but the sacrifice is very much
worth the outcome👍

The Gimmick: My first thoughts were that I should (as taught in the DVD) just go ahead and make my
own, because this just looks wrong. But I decided I would test it out first. And much to my
surprise, it totally fooled them. Given the nature of the routine, the gimmick comes in and out of
play so naturally that they just assume it is their bill. Why wouldn’t it be? I will most likely
make up my own gimmick in the future if I need to, but this one works just fine.
The DVD: Wow,
this DVD was longer than I anticipated. A little repetitive at times, but Eric really wants to go
into every detail. Which is great for a beginner, annoying for me at time. The alternate changes and
handlings are awesome and I find myself just practicing them on my free time.
Overall: This is
the most fair bill transpo out there. It requires some decent audience management and time. It isn’t
a fast one that is over as soon as it began. If that is what you’re looking for, just get the
5-and-1 Transpo. If you’re looking for a good engaging performance piece, get The Bill Test.

Erik Casey's Bill Test is as flawless a close-up trick that a walk-around performer could hope for.
The effect is simple, yet effective. One could easily carry the small, unobtrusive gimmick
around, being ready to perform at any moment. As long as you have the gimmick, you are ready to
borrow ordinary bills from spectators and perform, with little to no set-up, depending on which
handling you prefer. Speaking of which, the DVD clearly teaches you not only multiple routines, but
also goes into the nuances of performance and handling.
It is clear that this was a
passion project, with plenty of thought and care put into the overall effect, and the details that
make it work so well.
Highly recommended.

I don't know how to start this other than by saying 'wow.' I know that you know what it feels like
to purchase something and realize it doesn't really work for you - kind of a bummer. The Bill Test
is 100% the opposite.
I'm having a hard time writing this because there are so many good
things to say.
I love that Bill Test is so insanely strong while being unbelievably
practical and workable. I have two gimmicks on me at ALL times and a sharpie (I prefer to perform
this with a little extra idea by Ryan Schultz). The only situation where I can't perform this is one
where nobody has any paper money at all - obviously a rare thing. I can even do this if they only
have two of the same bill!
This has become my go-to effect faster than anything else I've
ever learned. Erik Casey has absolutely killed it on this and I can't imagine that ANYONE would be
disappointed in this purchase.

The method for this trick is great, Erik with the help of friends has created several different
routines for all skill levels using the same gimmick. You're provided with an already made gimmick
as well as the material to make another one. In addition to this Erik teaches you how to make custom
made gimmicks using items you probably already have around your house.
When I first met
Erik he told me about his upcoming trick he was planning on releasing that fall, this trick would
not come out for another year and a half. Knowing Erik I know that he takes pride in the things he
creates and doesn't put out products that he doesn't believe in. As he states in the DVD it took him
about 2 years just to put together the DVD for this effect. This is an effect that's practical,
simple, and very visual with a gimmick that you can always keep on you!

I love it! Here's the thing: I fyou want to borrow the bills, this is the method and trick for you
to do the classic bill transposition. If you don't, then use the traditional method. Although I
never had people grab the bills using the old method (everything seems very fair so I never had a
problem), this method is very nice because you can borrow the bills. The gimmicks included are very
nice and you get a lot for your money. No money to destroy - no arts and crafts or anything - you're
ready to go! Very nice and a great close up trick that takes no room up...

The effect is good, the gimmicks are good but it looks like a twist on a version put out maybe 10 or
more years ago by Gene Burger. It is still worth the money if you want to have the ability to hand
out the bill afterwards. I like that I can use this effect when I hand out tips.
