Again, this is a biased review. Not pretending to be objective here. Just wanted to add some more
info about this trick.
When Nick originally released this trick, you had to do it with a
black match with a white head. It was a great trick, but matches like that were not common. So we
worked together with Jake to come up with a presentation that could be done with ANY match from any
matchbook, including the most common kind....the brown cardboard with the red or green heads. So
now, yeah, the trick is open to all to perform.
Another nice thing in here: We've got a
couple different presentations...some more visual, some more practical. And we do this stuff not
because one is better than the other....we just want to give you options.
(And so you guys
know, usually, in real life, I always perform the simplest version of tricks so I can put all the
focus on being entertaining and connecting with people.)
Anyway...enjoy Nick's trick!

So I was lucky enough to receive a review copy of this, from Rick, and I must tell you, I was pretty
excited because I personally love getting down and dirty for these types of Souvenir effects which
is exactly what this is.
First off the 'Gimmick' is well thought out and I can see this
working 99% of the time depending where your from particularly because, in my case, Matchbooks are
almost never used in South Africa as we have the slide-out Matchboxes however I can say this, If you
put the time and effort into adapting this effect to Matchboxes, it would serve as a perfect phase
for Vuja De by Rick Lax.
Now onto the real business. Because this effect is very intimate
and up close I feel like it's very easy to make the handling of the match very choppy and mechanical
because of how small of a prop you're working with and it might be easy to lose your audience so I
feel like this particular effect needs to be reasonably practiced and the handling has to be smooth.
With that being said the moves themselves are very easy to get down which is perfect
because you can really build on your presentation, also if you have good audience management then
you're good to go.
Gimmick construction is quite time consuming and, as you will be told,
it's wise to make about 20 or 30 of these gimmicks in one sitting and just be ready to go. In terms
of you're audience I would limit the audience size to about 5 or 6 people just to ensure that
everyone gets a feel of what's going on and angles are relatively good, in theory you could do this
surrounded but you'd have to have pretty bad management skills if you're performing surrounded.
All in all I LOVE this. Totally worth the price and for next to nothing you can carry a miracle
in your pocket, ready to go. The only time I can see myself leaving the house without it is if I've
run out of supplies, but Rick Lax has you covered on that in his section of the Download.
And at the end of it all you've created a kicka** souvenir. You'd be mad to second guess this.

This is a worker. It's clever, Easy to follow, and it leaves an impossible object with your
spectator. If you're willing to put in the 2 minutes to make the gimmick you'll have a small miracle
on your hands that your audience will not soon forget.

Before I began I must add I received an Advanced Review Copy from my friend Rick Lax.(But that
doesn't change anything about my review) Nick has put really put something great out onto the
market. Yes this is a download and you will need to construct a gimmick but it won't take but about
2 minutes even less to make a gimmick and you can make them in bulk.(I suggest, because you will use
this!)Don't be worried to construct a gimmick it is extremely easy to make and won't cost you a dime
because you probably already have the material at home to make it.
Not only is it easy to make
and easy to do it packs small and plays big, and leaves them with an incredible souvenir they will
never throw away or forget. You are making a mistake if you don't get this. Nick my friend you have
made an amazing thing and I look forward to seeing more of your releases. - Aaron Payne

I received a review copy of this trick and I am so glad I did. For the price you receive several
different handlings including one by Rick Lax that only requires a one-time build. The build is
super easy and you should be able to build one or two a minute. I love that fact that this creates
an impossible souvenir for the spectators. Haven't performed this yet but am looking forward too!
The only issue with this is that it that a match is not a very large prop and can be difficult to
see. Any trick with matches has this issue so if you are performing for more that 2-6 people at a
time this may not be right. Still, I highly recommend this product and can't wait to perform it!

Wow, easily worth the $10 that it is now. Great video teaching, instruction, and different handlings
are shown including one from Rick himself. PICK THIS UP!

I received a review copy of this trick but in all honestly I would have paid full price!
You get a 25 minute download with very detailed instruction. Nick goes into every thing you need
to know about this and let me just say, it's amazing.
Sure, it does take some arts and
crafts but if you sit down In front of the tv for an hour and just make 2 hole matchbooks full of
these you are set for a good while (each one only takes a couple of minutes)
The trick
itself is killer, And has all the good parts of other tricks combined into one: gets great reactions
, easy to do, ends clean, and leaves your spectators with an impossible object. What more could you
ask for?
Rick also teaches his handling that I'm honestly not a huge fan of and probably
won't use but it is repeatable and you only have to make one gimmick and your set which is a plus.
If you are on the fence it is only 15 bucks and I promise you will use this at least once
In Your life and if you only use it once (which you won't) you at least have a really cool method
that you will smile at when you watch the video. Get this!!
