I've been working with this effect for several weeks now and right off the bat I had issues with the
gimmick and the case. I still, after stretching the case, am having issues with it working
consistently. Peter tried giving me advice in the forum, but I only found more people having the
same issues and being disappointed that I feel the video was very misleading. Let's recap:
PROS:
Kind of impromptu (gimmicks, case, and cards have to be on you)
Very visual and
deceiving, great reactions
CONS:
Forced card that has to be replaced each performance
You end dirty (the torn piece under the case cannot be examined without another switch)
The
gimmick is not silent when in use and does not do everything it says it can (freely moving the torn
piece in the open before melding under the case has not worked once)
I want to return but
am holding out that maybe this will start working as it seems like a great concept, and I've still
gotten good reactions without using phases of the trick that do not work as advertised.

Pros: organic, setup isn't too bad, very visual, very creative
Cons: description is not
completely accurate.
1.spectator "selects" a card. You know what this means. You won't be able
to repeat the effect to the same person. Just to let you know
2.The corner piece has to be very
small in size. So don't think that you are going to tear a fourth of a card/bill and do the effect.
The corner piece must be smaller than the size of a dime.
3.The case is examinable but the
corner piece IS NOT.
4. For you to perform exactly like the trailer and end up completely
clean, you will have to switch out the corner piece and ditch TWO more things. And all these three
things you ditch are very small so if pocket management is crucial this is not practical for you.
It is for this reason that I do not find this effect very practical because it will only be a matter
of time before I lose one of these "things" in my pocket. And once you lose it, you won't be able to
perform the effect and it is not like you can just go out and buy/replace the "things."
Because I will not be using it, it gets 3 stars. Also, I just think sooner or later someone will
tell you to restore the corner piece. It just feels incomplete to me to leave that corner piece
un-restored. Hope this helps you decide.

The effect is great - but the description isn't accurate. I have a gold iPhone 6, but the gimmicks
are made especially to suit a dark grey iPhone. Peter brushes this details aside saying that the
colour works fine for all iPhones - but I disagree. You want a gimmick that hides in plain sight
without raising any kind of discrepancy, and unless you have a silver / grey iphone then you're
buying a gimmick that is not invisible.
It's a real oversight and shame that this wasn't
mentioned or corrected in the description.
The instruction and tuition is OK - he explains
things badly and the camera angles are annoying and too far away. It's frustrating how easily fixed
this would have been if they had simply thought about it at the time of filming!
I've had
to order a gold covering for my iphone to use this effect - that's another 5 days of waiting and
$12...plus a bit of arts and crafts.
Bear all this in mind before you purchase it!

Peter Eggink's gimmick are among the best quality gimmicks to my humble opinion and iSolation
follows that standard greatly!!! The effect is a classic brought into the modern era, the gimmick is
ingenious/clever/durable and the illusion is easy to master and still gets amazing reactions. Great
quality video and super clear instructions in the tutorial!!! Loving it!!! Yo Peter!!!

What do Magicians always hear when being introduced in social situations? “Show me a trick”.

Thanks to iSolation, you’re prepared on the spot, without fumbling. Pulling out your phone has
become the most natural action anyone does, so this is organic magic at its best.
Whatever
routine you do, business card ( a workers dream giveaway ) playing cards, bill, etc. the magic
happens in their hand because you place your phone in their hands to perform. Magic that happens in
they hand is the strongest you can do.
If you are Magicians and you have an iPhone, then
you fall in love with iSolation. Your audiences will thank you!

I really wish I could give this trick a 5 star rating but that would not be fair. I think I'm being
better than fair by giving it a 3 star rating. And that is because I think it could be better if
they wanted it to be. It looked great in the videos but I was never able to get the gimmick to work
properly on my iPhone 6+. And now that I have the iPhone 7, I can't even try to do the effect as the
case that is supplied no longer fits my new phone design.
Also, there is a very special
"apple" piece of the trick that will wear out very fast if you use this case daily, like I did, as
your main phone case. It seems like they would supply you with at least two pieces because once the
piece is worn out, or in may case broken, this trick is toast. My suggestion is not to use the case
until you are 100% ready to do this illusion. Since I work on always being ready, this is not good
for my routine.
So I never really got to perform the tick even one time because it would
never work right in rehearsal.
The fix in my case. It would be nice if the creator would
have a way to let you purchase extra parts to this trick and now make it available to the iPhone 7+.
Until then, if ever, this trick was a waist of my money. But maybe the creator will read
this and make it right. Just not going to hold my breath.
Thanks, The Magic Doc
