This is a great combination of effects, it will take practice (if you are a novice)but it gives you a few minutes of performance time with multiple surprises and an awesome ending. The additional handlings and optional moves along with the psychology behind the effect is brilliant.

This is a very complete routine that has been perfected through thousands of performances and it shows. Pop gives his thoughts and rationale behind the construction of the routine. That adds to the value a lot, but the routine is already worth more than 5 stars. I don't think you can go wrong with Pop. I only perform for fun anymore and this has been a blast to perform the few times I have had a chance. There is required sleight of hand but it is in the begginer to lower intermediate range and these slights and his thoughts belong in your arsenal and are likely known by most potential buyers.
Routines like this are what we should be looking for and not giving 5 stars to every mediocre thing that comes out. People will remember this one! It is my favorite take on the classic "Chicago opener"...which he also teaches in the download.

There is so much on this download that comes with the workings of the actual trick. I can't really go into it all whithout revealing the method but you get about 8 tricks and some very valuable insights and techniques that help stengthen your sleights. There are basic moves that you already know and some advanced stuff that you can do with practice. Pop Haydn also provides easy alternatives for the advanced moves so that it is equally good for all levels of magicians. My only criticism with this is that, as a download, it doesn't come with a menu to easily navigate to the different sections but that would have bumped the price up. This is the best download I have bought for a while and for the cost, everyone should get this. Thanks Pop Haydn!

I love this trick. It's a great opener and really fools people.

We all know the Chicago Opener, but Pop's variation takes it to another level.

And honestly, I already know how he did the trick, but I bought this anyway because of the HOUR+ LONG video that comes with it. You learn the trick and get a great lecture from Pop that is worth the cost of the trick all on its own.

I first saw Pop Haydn perform this on his Penguin lecture some time ago and it went straight into my set - it always gets a great reaction! I decided to invest a few extra Dollars in this little download and was not disappointed. Although I don't think I will change my performance of this great effect it was wonderful finding out more about it's origins and looking at the various ways to get into it.
