I don't usually write reviews unless something really excites me, and Lockjaw certainly fits in that
category. Think of what you are getting here - a worker, in the truest sense of the word: a fully
scripted, honed multi-phase routine that plays well close-up or standup, at chest level for crowds
of any size in any environment (bar, stage, comedy, what have you), has a logical display of skill
as well as fantastic, classic magic moments, and only requires a shuffled deck in use and a marker
to have a card signed (doesn't even have table requirement and can even be done mostly surrounded).
This is an exquisite example of playing big with cards while packing small. the only hitch is that
this will require dedication and practice to perform. Skills required include a good card spring for
the first phase, a Mercury fold for one phase, etc. so this is definitely intermediate sleight of
hand card magic. If you are willing to give this the dedication it deserves, however, you will have
a complete solid professional routine you could do in almost any condition that requires only a
regular, shuffled deck. What more can you ask for?

Great trick, Great teaching! There was only one minor thing I didn't like, Mr. Pierric's jokes, but
you can come up with other things to say. You should definitely buy this if you want a fast effect
that packs a punch.

This is the first review I've ever felt compelled to write. As soon as I saw the trailer for this
effect, I fell in love with the zany visual of the card apparently caught between the teeth from a
spring. I had just recently seen Jeff Hobson perform it during his Illusionists tour, and I
witnessed first hand how devastating a card in the mouth trick can be. This is an incredible secret,
and excellent motivation for the dirty part of any card to mouth. Make it your own. That's what I
did. I used it as a closer for a paid show, and got a huge tip which paid for it twice. If you're
mindful of your angles and have the skills to pull it off. Also, considering stocking up on cheap
cards, because while it can be done with a deck in use, the cards go in your mouth and germy cards
taste awful. I personally use Aviators.
One quick comment, please look at the greats like
Mullica and Hobson with a card in their mouth. See how they contort their faces? All of that acting
is what sells this trick. This trick is reputation making, plus it's fun to perform. The more effort
you put into it, the more rewarding it will be.
If you are willing to practice and make this a
worker, it will treat you very well. Thanks for reading.

Love this routine. The reactions I have gotten thus far have been great. This is not one to perform
surrounded, but the routining tips and simplicity of the instructions make this easily worth $10.

Fun Trick that is fairly easy to do. It is a great little routine and you do learn a couple of moves
that if you are a beginner will add a ton of value to this trick.
For the price, you
cannot go wrong. Definitely recommend it!

I bought this download the for sole purpose of learning the move used in the effect. I think it was
a great video, and an awesome trick. Priced perfect and well taught. I will be creating my own
patter as I do with most tricks I learn, but the end result will certainly be the same lol.
Thank you Pierric and Penguin Magic for this awesome download!

I was well impressed with the thinking behind Lockjaw, and the powerful effect achieved by a
relatively easy to grasp method.
I am not as keen on the 'card from mouth' part, but that's just
a personal thing to me, and I understand that many skilled magicians use it to great effect, so I
certainly wouldn't knock it.
I am not up to performing standard as yet, but it wont be too long
till I start to use it, as it's definitely going into my 'set'.

I absolutely love this trick! It's wonderful yet pretty easy to do and takes only about a couple
hours of practice to master it. (more or less depending on how confident you are in performing it.)
The tutorial is very in-depth and even shows multiple angles for each move. I got this on sale but
honestly even at what it's at now it's still worth more. This is my go-to effect for cards and the
trick I've gotten tipped at resturaunts for. This is a reputation-maker. I'd give this 6/5 stars if
I could!
