Insight ESP includes a set of 5 electronic ESP cards and 5 blank cards. Invisible RFID chips embedded in each card transmit the value to the Insight reader, a miniature device that will respond with a coded vibration, or send the information to a nearby iPhone.

The Basic Effect

The performer hands the cards to a volunteer and invites them to focus on any card, placing the rest of them aside. Without touching the volunteer or the deck, the performer reveals the chosen card.

An infinite variety of effects can be performed - you are limited only by your imagination!

The Reader

The reader features both wireless transmission and on-board vibration cuing. At only 77 x 33mm it's incredibly small, with a range that allows you to detect the cards with a single gesture. When connected to an iPhone, the reader can be positioned under a table for a truly hands-free performance.

A stack of up to three cards can be detected simultaneously.

The Cards

The Insight cards (Phoenix edition) are the very first electronic ESP cards to be designed from the ground up specifically for magicians. The chips and antenna are embedded in the cards during the manufacturing process, ensuring that each one is as thin and flat as a normal playing card.

The cards are resistant to water as well as to normal wear and tear - the blank cards can even be written on with a Sharpie and the writing can be removed with solvent.

And finally...

An iPhone is not included with the device, but if you have one already (4S and above) you can unlock Insight's wireless features by purchasing the Insight Reader app available from the App Store. Apple Watch support is included amongst a number of other new features.

Note that this is an optional feature only - the majority of the effects can be performed using the reader alone.
