Draun on Dice (DVD)
Learn four of the best dice routines developed by the masters! Plus, a special bonus: Draun's Ambitious Card Routine! Highly recommended for serious magicians and pros.
Steve Draun is an accomplished performer, lecturer, and author of magic. Draun's magic has been widely published in both Genii and Magic Magazine, Richard's (Kaufman) Almanac, Marlo's Magazine and Harry Lorayne's Apocalypse.
A student of Ed Marlo, Draun is regarded as one of the best sleight of hand performers in the country!
Marlo says of Draun, "...those of you who have had the good fortune to see him (Draun) perform have witnessed some excellent magic."
Richard Kaufman describes Draun as "...a man who is known by the highest accolades his peers can bestow, a magician's magician."
Learn four of the best dice routines developed by the masters:
Ed Marlo Dice Transposition
- If you can finger palm a die, you'll be performing this effect overnight! In this routine, dice magically move from hand to hand, one at a time as presented by Ed Marlo in his publication Shoot the Works.
Dai Vernon Climax for Dice Routine - From the Dai Vernon Book of Magic, published in England. Dice change size throughout this routine. The BIG finish will definitely catch your audience by surprise!
Dr. Sack Spotted Sorcery - As originally presented in The Phoenix Magazine, watch as the spots on the dice move around from top to bottom, side-to-side without ever moving from the performer's fingertips!
Mohammed Bey The Malini-Bey Chink-a-Chink - Incredible! This one effect is worth the price you paid for the tape! Based on the famous coin manipulation of the same name, Mohammed Bey, a.k.a. Leo Horowitz, published this very clever dice routine in Stars of Magic
As a very special bonus you'll learn the following:
Steve Draun Draun's Ambitious Card Routine - Very funny and full of surprises! Steve Draun transforms a standard ambitious card effect into a very clever and entertaining routine. Lots of funny bits are thrown in and you'll be amazed at some of the effects in this routine!

I bought this, though it wasn't from Penguin. The tricks aren't too bad, but it does not come with
dice to do the tricks and the large matching dice you need are impossible to find.

This is a rather poor quality video. You can not see what he is doing in the first routine to really
learn it well. There are only a few routines on the video and they are not even that great. The best
thing on the video is his ambitious card routine that unfortunately uses a gimmicked wallet that is
expensive and hard to get. But it's a nice routine. The dice stuff leaves more to be desired.

This is a hidden treasure in magic DVDs/Video's !
To see a master like Steve Draun is a value
right from the get go. Never mind that he tips the work on some great dice work and his Ambitious
Card routine. This DVD is simply heads and tails above the vast amount of other DVD's on the market.
Buy it and enjoy a "Master" at work!

I have seen Steve do this routine several times... live!!! It plays big time... As to the
production quality. Who cares... The material is well worth it...

I can't believe they took a product that was badly produced and on a really bad subject and wasted
their money to turn it into a DVD, how old is it now? The only good thing about Draun on Dice VHS
was the dice that came along with it. Draun is a great but not in this folks. Why is Penguin
carrying such a bad product?
