Wow. Tom Wright. I'll remember this name. his personality is visible through his act, but every trick is not tailored just for him, which sometimes is the problem with lectures. This one, you can adapt everything to you, it's full of practical magic you will do. And I believe that words gets thrown around too easily. This time they are completely justified. There are not too many tricks, just enough for them to be thoroughly explained, and wow they're good. I will use his name killer routine in my restaurant act from now on.
- bottle production: beautiful and simple as well
- card out of mouth: BEAUTIFUL piece, one of the highlights for me, great reactions, gives logic to an unjustifiable move that now becomes just perfect. I already have an idea for a little twitch that will make this trick part of my close up act.
- bottle through table: the best explanation I've seen, touching every fine point but still concise
- Chop Cup: good, solid routine with a Chop Glass gimmick. The idea he suggests for the ending makes me want to do a chop glass routine too.
- Psychic Touching: his version of PK Touches, to me the "weakest" of the effects here, meaning it's alright, simple as well, and can get good reactions, but I feel it's a bit too short, can present some problems, and if you're interested in PK touches there are other versions you might want to try. Interesting none the less.
- chill: haunted deck in the spectators hands, very good, solid, a method you might want to try if you do HD in your act. It is thought for stand up magic.
- Name Killer: ok. everybody has a go-to card routine, the one you always do when you open with cards, this is nothing groundbreaking, in fact, I do a very similar card routine with the same ending. But the way it is structured is just better. Better than mine at least.
- Oblivion: I don't work with ITR, I tried a very hyped up gimmick, had horrible results, felt ripped off of my money, never tried again. I might have just realised, hearing Tom talk about it, I had the wrong approach. My problems aside, this maybe the easiest handling for floating coin to exist. So easy that I may even try it in the near future.
Interview with Dan: I like Tom's personality, he is very experienced for his fairly young age, he shares some of the worst things that have happened him in gigs, as well as his reasons to prefer stand up magic. Very enjoyable from beginning to end.

Tom is probably one of the busiest UK performers and this lecture includes some of his best material and subtleties to add to your existing routines.

The best thing about Tom's work is the way he performs, how he interacts with his audience and gets you thinking about how re-framing your existing routines, you can make them even more powerful. This lecture is a must see if you would like to make your magic stronger and connect more with your audience.

Tom is a great magician and his material is 100% commercial. If you want effects for the real world then this is for you.

If you are looking for an amazing lecture full of variety then look no further. Tom has some amazing material in which I will certainly use in my set. There is something for everyone and his teaching style is very easy to follow.

Tom Wright does some amazing thread work, and he is a great teacher with a great personality.

I originally just wanted to learn bottle through table and was recommended to look into Tom’s penguin Live. All I can say is wow! what amazing content and years of information packed into a lecture. I really enjoyed watching all the live performances. An amazing entertainer, amazing style and great teacher.

There’s so much material on here, making it amazing value for money and easily the best lecture I’ve seen. Tom’s comedy and magic skills are demonstrated perfectly and I challenge anyone not to be inspired. Whether you’re a full time pro or hobbyist there’s definitely something for you here to elevate your magic and performance.

Not enough hours in a day to describe the quality of all Tom does, all completely amazing and more importantly, do able in the real world, the majority of my material I perform is down to Tom, just wish I could learn to be as funny!
Teaches everything in great detail, a pleasure to watch, not only is this must have magic you need to learn, its also how it should be taught.
Do yourselves a favour and self isolate with Tom and come out the other end a better magician!!!!

Tom is a great performer and it shows in his routines , there’s some really good hard hitting magic in this lecture and well worth the money , also has some great thoughts about magic in general

You can tell Tom is a busy working pro , all the material taught is fantastic , you can learn a lot from his persona .
The way he interacts with the audience getting them all involved is just brilliant , his chop cup and bottle tru were worth the price of the download.
