I got this last week. I freaking love it. It is easy to perform. You have to mindful of the way you
hold it...esp during close up. I'm adding it to my walk around and stage show. Like ASAP. I've
already done it a dozen times. They don't see it coming and it is just fast, fun and easy. I already
have a collection of funny productions in my stage show and this eight ball fits right in. I am so
happy to add this and so dang happy for the visual punch moment. My nephew is coming this weekend
and it is going to fry him.
Reactions for those I've done it for so far...eye pops...lots
of eye pops and laughter. They grab the ball from me almost every time. Can't wait to perform it on
the stage!
I had one girl grab the box and look at it and see nothing. I took it
back without much care and handed her the eight ball. She was like WTF! I am not saying I want them
to grab the deck every time...but it did happen and I didn't make a big deal of it.
I love
this !!!!!

It is a good visual Trick. I don't do it like Mr. Rowe his
version where he puts down on table
is Great !! It does require good Audience management. If you do it as a Finish it is impressive. I
do table Hopping and come from the same thinking as the Late Derek Dingle school of thought ...I
don't like to put things down on a table. Derek was a trade show magician who spoke of working
without putting stuff down on table at a booth so everybody could see him.
I don't like to
invade the patrons space. I do have TWO and keep it in my close up case. For me it is a once or
twice a night" opener" it is something people are not expecting. I open w/ "Do you know what my
favorite sport is ? " and I Point to the card case and bam ! It gets a great response.

I ordered the appearing 8 ft. straw but they sent me this by accident ,bit of a hassle to send it
back so i kept it. I really like the idea but the gimmick itself doesnt work properly . I dont know
how else to say it without exposing anything , i had to seriously tweek the thing to make it work
and only because i happen to know the even better method (which i learned here at penguin) for the
mechanics of the gimmick . I have a feeling alot of people will have a hard time with this.

Well the second one I bought just bit the dust after a year and a quick fix when I got too sweaty,
never looked as good but still killed with this make shift version. Been using it for years and
it’s a great opener. Super bummed they don’t market this anymore. Get rid of the eight ball abd just
sell the box. We can find an eight ball, I know in the end the weight of these eat up your profits
in shipping.
One of the best props I’ve ever bought, a worker for the street, great for the dive
bar and the salty dogs. Work just as good in broad daylight. This needs to be revisited sold as a
template on pdf with instructions on how to make the gimmick. While I appreciate the out of box
experience I received when I purchased it in its current production this could be made much more
cost effective.
