I was very happy to purchase this for an upcoming show, and overall I'm glad I made the purchase.
Pros:
Free Shipping
Nice protective case to keep cards in when storage
Happy
with the quality of cards.
Nice routine
Cons:
The DVD instructions where delivered
so fast that I or anyone at that matter will have to keep stopping to pause, rewind and replay a
LOT, in order to get the order of the moves down. I know we call can rewind, but I don't want to be
grabbing my remote control every 3 seconds. He rushes through the instruction WAY TO FAST!
Overall I think it is a great little fun addition when you can get the patter and the moves
down, but I wish magicians who are putting new magic out would get a focus group and see how they do
before they put out new effects. Had a focus group been done, I would bet that all would have been
very frustrated at how unnessarally fast the instruction are delivered. Thus, this could have been
corrected and fixed before going to sale.
Final comment: worth the money, but be ready to
have to rewind a LOT....and I do mean a LOT! If the instruction were not rushed.... I would have
given this 4 stars.

I use this as a second item to perform during my shows and it is always a good lead in to my
performance and gets good laughs as well.

First off, rest in peace Daryl, and may you be happy wherever you are. The trick is difficult to for
a beginner to learn. The teaching Daryl gives you along the way really helps. You must practice this
before you go out there and perform this. You mess this up and you should never do this effect again
for the same crowd. Good responses will come from it. Make sure there is proper lighting if your
doing it on stage as well. But all you should know is to Practice, Practice, and to Perform!

When I was performing the original "packet trick" version with bridge sized cards way back in 1982 I
thought then that this would be a great effect enlarged for platform use and I was right!
The only reason I gave this "only" 4 stars is that I would prefer cardstock that is a bit less
stiff, you'll understand what I mean once you do the effect. The "too stiff" cards is by no means a
deal breaker - just takes a bit of getting used to. Doing that first move "upside down" was
interesting at first - I don't know why, but it really threw me off the first few times through.
This one is all about the patter. If you like "patter tricks" THIS IS FOR YOU. The patter
as provided is very similar to the original and I was able to use my own patter that I used way back
when with very little adaptation with the Jumbo version.

My great, late, friend Steve Walker was a fan of this trick and after his passing I picked it up in
earnest. This is a GREAT MC bit or a filler for a stand-up/parlour routine. Full credit to Daryl
as this is a well-thought out routine with a great kicker! 5/5 :-)

I mainly got this for MC work or as a stand-alone magic bit. It's a good entertaining effect but it
takes a bit of time to get the moves down and memorize the routine.
None of the moves are
difficult but there are several stages to remember and Daryl is very fast in his explanation. Like
another customer said, I had to watch some sections a few dozen times before I felt I had a grasp of
the routine.
But it's a fun routine that will appeal to a vast range of ages and is
appropriate in pretty much every performing situation.
