Never wrote a bad review before, mostly because Penguin has always has such good quality products (I
love this company to death)...but this being an exception.
Save your money, and buy a
couple Vernets for the same price. I promise you will thank me later. Why?
a) I have
purchased nearly every single dang thumb tip and dvd/book related to thumb tip(s) on penguin. Anyone
doubts me, I can release my purchase history.
b) I am less bias to thumb tips. Maybe mine
didn't fit me, but it will fit another person. The Extreme Close up being the exception. It has no
greater quality than a $1 chinese thumb tip online in color, quality, or otherwise. Search it up,
you WILL find them (the chinese ones), and they're the SAME QUALITY as this tip.
c)
nothing fancy about this thumb tip. no fancy packaging, nada...it looks as if no care's been put
into it, I just saw it in my box hidden amongst the kick but Vernet tips. I compared a chinese $1
thumb tip, which by the way is very adaptable to multiple thumb sizes, and I'm sticking with the
chinese version than this Extreme's attempt at a thumb tip.
Summary, yeah you can get the
chinese tip, and it'll be about the same quality (you're welcome). BUT, and this is cuz penguin is
awesome and here for ya, if you want the BEST tip, go get a Vernet, on penguin, and buy a couple,
hard or soft styled for $2. They're CHEAP AND GREAT, and I promise...PROMISE you will be happier
with penguins other thumb tip products over Extreme's "attempt" at a thumb tip.
Here's to
a good day, and wishing you the best in your thumb tip journey,
-Dan

Extremely disappointing! I was very fascinated by the preview and close up of the Thumbtip, till I
receive it.
Firstly, the coloration is completely different from any natural brown.it's a very
pale yellowish conpletely different and far off.I won't recommend it to anyone who's
looking for
one as natural in tone or quality and price.

Color and size didn't work for my average sized thumb. Color shines and does not look so swell for
my white skin. Not even " close" to a good choice for a close up worker. Perhaps as I have
discovered it's just better to work on your technique using your money on the Tarbell-Thumbtip
magic download taught by Dan Harlan as an instant video download. Two thumbs up on that instant
download..
This close up workers thumb was too small and really a waste of money. Go VERNET,
those thumb tips rock as they are affordable, look much more realistic, match my white skin, and the
soft /medium size Vernet is the close up workers thumb tip of choice here!

This the first time I've been disappointed in a product from Penquin.
I ordered two Vernet TTs,
and the IN YOUR FACED TT. The Vernet TTs
were excellent . They looked good, fit well, came
nicely packaged, and held a decent load.
The IN YOUR FACE TT is terrible. It has a poor flesh
color, is a very tight
fit, holds a very small load, and is cheaply packaged in a plastic wrap.
But what makes the comparison outrageous is the price. The IN YOUR FACE TT is Six times more
expensive then One Vernet. I wish the manufactures of IN YOUR FACE used as much creativity in
designing their TT as they did in advertising it.

I've searched high and low for a thumb tip that I feel comfortable using and after many types I
believe this one is the best (for me at least). Everyone has their prefences and I also own good
tips from Magicmakers and Tenyo but when it comes to vanishing a 12" silk they don't sit very well
on my thumb whereas these do - due to the rubbery texture.
The colour is darker and doesn't suit
my natural skin colour but in actual fact this shouldn't be a problem. I also own a brilliant DVD
from Duane Laflin (I'd recommend to anyone) and he teaches that in any vanish there is no need for
the audience to even see the thumb tip. Therefore, slight differences in colour don't matter.
I
hope this review may help others decide. I know these tips are more expensive but in my opinion they
are worth that extra price.

Not a fan, too soft, too narrow, and a little see through. Vernet simple ones are better.
Great thumb tip, the reason for the three stars is because when I received mine, it had like yellow
burn marks on the tip of the thumb like it had been used...very disappointed.
Excellent quality and appearance. I ordered 3 more.
This is definitely the most realistic thumb tip, much better than Alan Wong's
