I have a background in marketing and learned something new. For anyone seriously considering
branching out into making money in magic this lesson is worth it (invest in yourself).
The
only reason I gave it four stars is the lesson is under an hour and skipped a few topics I thought
were important. Although, the secret website mentioned is a nice supplement to the lesson.
In closing, this course is something similar you'd get at a reputable university if the entire
university marketing course was condensed to under an hour.

I love this Tarbell series. Dan is a wonderful teacher and he really does spend a lot of time in
the details, which is important.
That being said, this was a dud. I enjoyed David
Corsaro's insight in this video, but it seemed as if Dan just wanted the stage for himself. Being a
performer myself, I completely understand not wanting to share the spotlight, but holy crap - let
the man speak! He'd ask him a question and then give the answer. smh.
And on top of that,
this was rushed through very quickly. While some people may get bored listening to theory and
ideology, I actually really enjoy hearing practical applications to every day problems. Dan made it
feel as though this video HAD to be under 60 minutes or else. Has anyone ever seen some of the
other tarbell videos? This is my second year in a row subscribing to them and some of them can be
2-3 hours. Why did you feel it necessary to rush through it.
I'm sorry, it just feels as
though we're trying to just throw something together for the sake of releasing it on time instead of
really putting some effort into the production. I get it, COVID is hitting us all, but now, more
than ever, I think it would behoove you to put a little more effort into these videos. For some of
us, this is the only reprieve we've seen over the past few months.
Here's to looking
forward to getting something a little more 'worthy' of the Tarbell course next week. Lord Help us!
:)

Ok this stuff is worth you time and money. You can tell these guys know what they're saying, you see
they're used it and it works. If you finished this download then you know enough to make money with
your show. So go MAKE MONEY!
I wish they would put out a volume 2 on this topic and
include stuff like
1.What to do if the market changes
2.Elavater pitch
3.How to bargain (when needed)
4.Why should they take me over another performer
5.Is
there a recommendation as to how much to percent of what I make to invest in Web page design, data
collection and props
6.Anything else I didn't think of
NOTE:This download isn't
missing information, like I said before that if you watched this then you know enough to make money.
I just would want to hear from these guys on the topics I mentioned because they know they're stuff
and this is also part of marketing (I think so at least)
Thanks Dan, I'm happy to do you
back the favor. But really if you can make volume 2

I love Dan Harlan and I know he works his butt off doing these videos but I felt like having David
Carsaro as the interview person for this issue of the Tarbell course was too much like his lecture
that he just gave a few months ago. I felt like it was the easy way out all the way around. Not that
the info was bad but I already had the info in the Carsaro lecture, so don't buy both.
As a
penguin live subscriber and a Tarbell subscriber I felt short changed with this one.

Detailed advice on how to truly promote your material for those starting out.
It was very informative and full of valuable information. Thank you for sharing this fantastic
information I was surprised to see my good friend David Corsaro on the panel. Thank you Mr. Dan
Harland and Mr. David Corsaro.
If you are new to marketing, this lecture will put you on the path to asking the right questions.
It is only one hour long so there is no time to go into detail about one subject. There are some
good tips in here. It is very basic. If you are looking for a marketing system or marketing
strategy, how to generate leads, or how to create a client list this is not it.
this is a very important part of the magic business, great information. we need more of the BUSINESS
part of show business. Dan you are always great at guiding the interviews. keep them coming.
I work at a University and have been involved in teaching marketing. This is an excellent
presentation specifically tailored to the magician, mentalist or entertainer. I am really impressed
on the straight forward logical approach with real world advise. If you are interested in making a
living with magic this is highly recommended.
