Brian Tudor has put some really difficult stuff out there, but this is more suited for us regular
magicians. The changes you learn on this video are actually pretty easy to learn. There are some
problems with these though, mainly the angles. Although the moves are easy to learn, the angles will
take some time to get right. If you liked the changes you see in the video, then you will like
performing it and it will get you some nice reactions too.
The changes themselves are very good and some of them are very original. However Brian Tudor does
not do the best job in explaining them. He seems to have an almost cocky atitude about it and does
not break down some of the more complex moves involoved. So I would recomend this to intermediate
magicians
Unfortunateley, as good as these effects are, I couldn't follow the moves Brian Tudor was
demonstrating in the instant download. He didn't explain very well at all where to position the
card(s), not much detail. For example, the zip change tutorial is less than 30 seconds long, and the
snap change is presented once, with one angle, and last less than 20 seconds. better to learn these
separately in my opinion.
I got Oz's Born to Perform video and this one. Oz's video is excellent for the beginning magician,
of which I am one, and I use what he taught me every day. Brian Tudor's stuff on the other hand got
me thinking a whole lot more and I've developed WAY more tricks based on what he showed me than
anything else I've learned.
Sure these are visual, but the teaching is terrible!! On top of that, Brian tudor looks like he has
a plane to catch in 5 minutes! and for the price, there are MANY MANY better things to buy!
I think he is very good, but I think he should teach slowly. He is still chewing a gum when he is
performing...LOL
I must say the tricks are awesome and you can't deny that they are all very visual! As many people
have mentioned, Brian tends to talk things through once, unlike Oz who repeats things over and over
again till you understand. But the way he taught in this video was quite clear to me..and yeah, you
can just rewind it if you don't understand. Generally I like it! If you like it after watching the
demo video, buy it! And keep practising it till you get it down! There's no such thing as impossible
or hard to do...all you need to do is practice!
This download has some great material on it. As said in other reviews, Brian Tudor does tend to talk
it through once and quite fast. But this is all he needs to do. In my opinion, people who write
negative comments (I assume), if they can't get it the first time, they give up.
You
should know basic cards sleights and tricks. These moves will take you approximately 1-3 months to
master, but it varies!
All in all, a relatively good download!
Its alright but he doesn't teach it as well as Oz Pearlman teaches other tricks. He goes through
them pretty fast and could show them much better. Good technique but thats just it one technique. If
they figure out one they have them all.
