I was rather disappointed that this was not a video tutorial. The dvd only demonstrated the main tricks. instead, a booklet was included, and it was NOT very well written.The writer is neither articulate nor does he sufficiently explain the tricks in a way that a beginner would understand. The trick itself can be impressive but it takes a very high skill level and a lot of time to discern the instructions.

Well worth the price and if your not too experienced with Gaff Cards this is the place to start and a fine addition for the pro wanting to get into the field and everything is laid out so that even the beginner can jump right in and preform. Syd knows his stuff and how to present it.

I would stick to buying normal gimmicked cards personally. I didn't find anything brilliant on this DVD, there are a couple of nice effects but I wouldn't say they were worth the price. If penguinmagic ever do a promotion when they offer this DVD for free then I would reccommend going for it but don't bother otherwise.

I enjoy tricks that involve gaffed cards...I would highly recommend the Penguin Monte, Stand Up Monte, Ultimonte, Very Wild, and many others... But Gaft Cards...give me a break...I mean, what is all the hype about? If you enjoy quick and visual tricks like the one I mentioned, stay away from Gaft Cards. The gimmicked cards provided are nothing special...as far as the tricks go...again, it's nothing special.

While I didn;t like the idea of Syd not talking at the beginning, I soon realized that it wasn't necessary. The booklet, which is fully illustrated, teaches every routine very well. Also, the fact that everything is provided (book, cards and performance DVD) makes this DVD a steal for only 20$. Oh, by the way, the 4 effects are fresh, visual, and have been entertaining my audiences ever since I started performing them.

Not sure about all of the 5 star reviews. For a video without sound is a little high for me. I like the booklet idea that comes with the DVD. Very low budget DVD. Save your money for Sankey.

I met this guy at a local magic shop which is no longer open. In San Diego.. This guy know his stuff and is really a great guy. I learned a couple things from him at the store I would recommend anything from this guy, he is great people and knows how to teach. Now I have to go get my copy since Brad's store is not open anymore... Thanx Penguin

This is amazing and well worth the price but please bug Oz to put up a demo video for this !!!

This DVD and tricks are AMAZING! They are true knockouts and they all get great reactions!
Wipeout: This trick gets great reactions and I love it! The blank jacks really amaze the specs.
Rewind: My personal favorite! When the pips dissapear then reappear leaves the specs speechless.
Jackass: Everyone loves this trick. The card disappearing and reappearing is amazing people watching.
Bouns: This one is a GREAT trick. The prediction changes to be their SIGNED card! AMAZING!

This DVD is great! Unlike other DVD's, you will use all of the tricks, and you will use them often. I have gotten great reactions out of these tricks. My favorite is the bonus. I would pay 19.95 for the bonus alone. It's that good! Imagine; the spectator signs a card (which they chose), the magician brings out of his back pocket a prediction which is colored differently on the back, and it matches the chosen card!!! Not impressed? Ok. So then the magician VISUALLY changes the prediction into the chosen card. The signature literaly jumps onto the face of the different backed card. It is powerful. I love it! I met Syd a while back when Brad Burts Magic shop was still around and he is really cool. I gotta give him props on this DVD. So after all of that, I just want to say...GET THIS DVD. It's off the hook!
