I was hesitant on purchasing the tt writer after reading the other reviews. One said it was made for
big thumbs. Probably so if you're a kid with undeveloped thumbs. I have small thumbs and it fits
like it was made for my thumb. One says the lead is too far down. That scared me too. I find it to
be in just the right place for secret writing! I purchased the under nail writer first and couldnt
get it to stay under my nail while writing. So im very pleased with the vernet thumb tip version.

Very useful item, for performing some strong magic. But it could be better! TT is very short, so
short it is sometimes hard to keep on. It came with a pin to help remove and replace the lead, but
it did not come with any extra lead. I took the inside gimmick and installed it into a regular size
TT and it worked much better for me.

This is definitely not for those with small to medium size hand (thumb). This is made to fit big
thumbs .. Wish they come in different sizes

The price: I checked around, and online, this seemed to be one of the best prices. Because I was
ordering something else, I bundled them.
Quality: Good, as expected. The out-of-the-box
size may be an issue, but I can fix it.
Usefulness: Unlimited. If you're foraying into
mentalism, this is an invaluable, necessary tool, responsible for innumerable quality
effects/performances.

Nice, simple thumb tip with No 2 pencil lead.
Pencil lead very light. It is hard to see if you are performing parlor or stage. Close up is OK. I
purchased a grease writer and I am extremely pleased.
I had this item over 20 years ago...works the same now, as it did then...bad. the lead isn't big
enough to write properly.
Takes yrs of practice. How about the Ox Peralman effect on
A.G.T....that item should be for sale!
I am a professional Mentalist and Swami effects are part of every show. After trying all the
alternatives, I prefer Vernet's Thumb Tip Style. Easy to put on, easy to ditch. It always fits, it
always works, I never have to fuss with my nail, its invisible. What is not to like? I always have
several around. One of the best, simplest and most powerful tools available.
Listen, it is what it is. Either you know you want it or you don't. Every effect you've ever read
that calls for pocket writing, or a nail writer, this is what you want. Sometimes a device comes
along that is small, affordable and allows you to do the impossible - and this is it.
Really it even legitamitly looks like a thumb. More invisible than a full thumb tip. Anyone with an
interest in mind reading and mentalism will tell you that this piece is absolutly essential. I do
like the thumb tip style because its hidden in plain sight and the lead or grease is replacable.
If you dont have one of these Im sure anyone would agree when I say, Just buy one. They arent
expensive and you will not regret it.
